Oil Change Noob Moves

    Mistake and mess number 1 - Make sure your oil catch pan is bigger than 7qts. Used the same pan I used for my FJ and then remembered the Tundra holds 8.5qts.

    Mistake and mess number 2 - When installing a fomoto oil drain valve make sure it’s not in the open position and proceed to fill up. I realized my mistake when I went to check the dip stick and it was bone dry.

    Hopefully things will go more smoothly next time around. *sigh*

    hahaha thats pretty funny! you're not the only one, I did the same thing my first change from tacoma to tundra, I realized it when about half the oil had drained and I got up and ran around looking for more containers but was too late:rofl:
