Clean job on the wiring. I'm looking forward to seeing this come together because I have a similar vision for my build.

Looks really promising. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Are you going to fill the middle with a removable shelf so you have a full size bed?

I left the middle open so that i can haul my kayak in the bed when i go fishing. Otherwise, I will fill that space with a pull out slide so that i have access to my gear without having to crawl in and out... that gets old quickly, lol... nothing fancy either, just a cutout of plywood and raptor lined like i did the rest of the cabinets already installed.

Thanks man! The whole dual battery from scratch build has proven to be very lengthy in time and research, lemme tell ya... but i hope that it’s all going to be worth it in the end. I’ve looked for a while and up until lately, no store bought kit was available for under the hood installs... and even the kits available now sort of limit what size batteries so i kept noodling on something different. I saw other options of under mounting a battery cage and making it water proof but decided to go this route of keeping if off elements and in the bed as it was an easy option for a dedicated build and purpose for my off-roading camping plans... so a sacrifice of permanent bed storage is what it is... Anyways, I’m in the midst of the install now so will be posting progress as i make my way through... stay tuned!!

I couldn't build something if my life depended on it so I would need lots of advising and more than a couple cases of beer to do a project like this.

Tires estimated to deliver in about two weeks and then I’ll get the new wheels on. Bumper installation coming up this coming weekend hopefully. Also, first accessory light hooked up on new dual battery setup.

Going with BFG KM3s at 35/12.50/17. Ordered tires like a month ago and supposed to get it in about two weeks according to sales guy i talked to yesterday. BFG plant closed down at some point due to COVID but is now open again and playing catch up. Anyways, based on what I’ve read here, with these icon wheels, mud guards is all I’ll likely have to remove to clear this combo of wheel and tire. Hopefully that ends up holding true as i sure don’t feel like chopping stuff up... hah

Buddy bought this for me when he got his so just wanted to share. He got annoyed w/ the car wash messing with the factory one at height so... Seems to work well as i don’t notice the signal being any worse.

You've had the bumper a couple days now, was it worth it? How is the overall construction? How was it to put on? I've been eyeing the rangemax for a while now.

No regrets on my purchase and I’m happy with it so far. Construction is top notch and what I expected from the company based on research. I chose it for a few reasons... stout full bumper protection, center hoop for round lights, and winch ready. Install wasn’t too bad but I had a couple of buds help so a fun sat project with the boys. You will def need at least another person to help lift when you do the final placement of the bumper. There are extra frame support brackets which require drilling 2 new holes on each side of the front area of the frame and then the inner bumper frame attaches to that which is what makes this bumper super strong. There’s a YouTube video on the install as well from the company and it did help me reference some things in addition to the paper instructions that came with. It is definitely a beast and weight comes with obviously... add a winch and I think mine is prob 220ish lbs... and why I went with 700lb springs on front coils

Battery capacity gauges for both batteries installed and also amp draw gauge for second battery. Also installed some cabin party lights too... lol. And under hood led light strips to make it breezy to look under the hood at night... at a bargain.
