Texas = HOT for 11 summer months... I made a seat cooler.
The original seat pad was uncomfortable because the box the fans were in hit the bottom of my butt.upload_2020-6-27_12-45-59.jpg
I disassembled seat. Kept seat and switch. Discarded fans and seat “keepers”, (plastic washers connected to seat with elastic strips). I removed white seat “duct”. I used a dremmel tool with cutting blade to cut away anything at back of duct that would interfere with ~1.5” pool tubing. Picture below shows keepers installed at top... two original fans... some cut off pieces... tubing glued and wire tied. Black seat and white duct.upload_2020-6-27_12-51-13.jpg
Notes about tubing to seat assembly... after all piece cut from duct, I used a heat gun to roll duct into a smaller round dimension.
THIS is awesome glue, (Shoe Goo), for lots of things... I’ve resoled leather boot bottoms with it. It really works even on super super slippery stuff like plastics... DO NOT DOUBT THIS!!!upload_2020-6-27_13-0-5.jpg
I made a box out of a plastic screw box to insulate sound. I used a solder gun to make holes thru duct and tube. I also use solder gun to make two holes in box for airflow.upload_2020-6-27_13-2-17.jpgFan...upload_2020-6-27_13-4-39.jpg

im so glad I have factory set coolers. Its really just a fan, It works best when the HVAC is set to feet and face. It gets colder that way.

you may want to tap into the lower vent under your seat so when you turn the AC on it gets much colder. But nice job on what you did very creative. Also the factory fan has no filter what so ever that I can see. You might want to remove yours to get more Flow.
