Hey guys. I plan to have a ReadyLIFT 3"F/1"R SST Lift Kit installed, along with 285/75/r18 Ridge grapplers (35" diameter) on my 2020 SR5 TRD off-road CM.

According to Toyota the factory height is 76.2". My garage opening has about 82" of clearance. With the additions I mentioned above do you think I'll have any problem with clearance? How much does a 3/1 level actually raise the vehicle measuring from the roof? The main thing I'm worried about is the fin on the roof top getting ripped off. Here is a pic of the clearance I have right now, bone stock. When I get home I'm going to measure from the top of the fin to the bottom of the door to get an exact measurement.

I have icons at about 2.5” up front and cb+2 shackles in rear, which is just under 2” if I remember right. I have plenty of clearance with a 7’ garage door, like 5-6” in front and 3-4” in rear with an A.R.E. truck cap. I think you’ll be good but very close. Only way to tell is to do the lift. That fin might be an issue.

3" lift on 37's with an expedition one roof rack and I rub the rubber trim hard on a standard 7' door with an empty tank. I did have to keep the rear down (icon rxt option 2 with cb+1 shackles and a dual swingout steel rear bumper) so the roof rack is levelish, still a touch rear high.

It looks like you have plenty of room. Get in the back of your truck and measure the top of the truck to the top of the garage framing (I bet you have at least 5" of clearance). That's what I did when I wanted to lift my truck. I have a 3.5/2.0 lift with 34's and I have 2.0" of clearance left on an 80" garage opening.

    EDIT:
You can also get your garage door opener to pull the garage door a little farther back giving you a tiny bit more clearance (it looks like your door is lower than the garage framing).

That makes me feel good that you're running 37's and a roof rack and still fits. How tall is the roof rack? Do you have the fin on your roof?

Thanks! That's good to hear. Do you have the fin on your roof as well? Any idea how much the lift and 34's raised the roof of your truck?

yeah... that fin sticks up pretty high, doesn't it? mine is a short one on the front/right of the roof. well.... a 3.5" lift and 34's is about 5" above stock. if i went with 35's, it would be about 5.5" above stock.

Right!? Wish it was a little lower profile like the previous years were it was on the front/right of the truck.

4 inches above my roof at highest point in the center crown. no fin. The opening is 83" no including the rubber trim. You can see previous miscalculated attempts.

HAHA, nice! What's your opening from the bottom of the open door to the ground?

I think the key is like others said, adjust the door so it opens further than the opening. The bottom of the door is at 84.5", taller than the opening.

For me with 34s, the front drivers side is 38 7/8” floor to fender and passenger front is 39 3/8”.

Yea I think that’s what I’ll have to figure out. The opening of my garage is 84” but the bottom of the door is right around 82” and there is definitely track left for the door to go up farther. I think those to 2 extra inches would do the trick. Now just gotta figure out how to get the door to open farther.

There is an adjustment you screw with a flathead screwdriver. Should have an arrow or something on it showing up or down. I did mine and gained an inch or so.
