Anytime driving 65mph or over on windy days, I'm getting a loud whistle or moaning noise that seems to be coming from the passenger side A pillar or mirror area. Strangely enough, I have experienced the exact same noise, although with less frequency, on our 2015 Tacoma. This noise is loud and very annoying. It cannot be drowned out with the radio. I was able to get a video recording and will post this evening.

Anybody else experience this? Called the dealership and they said bring it in and we will take a look.

Thanks for the link. My noise sounds very similar to the video, maybe not quite as high pitched. May show the dealership that thread.

I don't experience the issue very often, but my wife works in Galveston and has to constantly drive in higher wind situations. It's driving her crazy, so she's driving me crazy to get it fixed.

I had the same situation with my 06 Taco, turns out it was the cowling around the side mirrors. I guess when the wind hits it at a sideways angles its like blowing on a jug. I tried several things, eventually, it seemed to get better when I put some black weatherstripping around the edges to break up the aerodynamics. I think that's why they put those two fins on the side mirrors of the 3rd Gens.

I have wind whistling at highway speeds as well that was louder than the radio (at normal decibels). Turned out it was my 14" antenna.

Mine was quiet as my Lexus until I installed the damn roof LED light bar. Now it whistles like all crazy. I did find a fix that I'll be installing tomorrow. Hallelujah!

It's funny how all these external pieces cause all these noises. I've done stuff like that to cars and nothing like this would occur.

I know, right? So I put it on the heat sinks of a new light (50") I'm installing tomorrow. My first (currently on the truck) light has a small amount of condensation on the inside of the lens. Hardly noticeable. So they sent me a new light. Sweet!
