Most of the TRD Pros I see are the crewmax with the short bed. Curious to hear from some people who have the double cab and standard bed. I hate the thought of only 5.5 ft

If you have kids over 10yrs old, do you like the thought of knees in your back?

It’s easier to haul longer things in a short bed than to cram more stuff into a smaller interior.

I’m glad I have the Double Cab. The CrewMax is a bunch of wasted space for “truck” purposes. Reality is that more people use their trucks as limousines than for transport of gear and materials. There’s nothing wrong with this.
Only you know what your truck will be used for.D4ECAE2E-F94C-4F49-80B0-CBB035DBA93B.jpg

Here’s the typical load for a crewmax 0D908EB0-CD99-4919-94EA-F84F300CCE28.jpgit’s easy to see why they want all that extra cab room, lol.

Oh for sure. Personally I want the standard bed but literally every TRD pro in my area is crewmax. I haven’t seen one double cab available. Supply is so limited right now

I was hesitant about the crew max and short bed. I figured my son is now 13 and we travel a lot playing hockey so the extra room is really nice. The bed has not been a big issue yet and think I made the right choice

I use to have the a 2013 double cab with a 8' bed back in September I traded in and upgraded to a 2019 crewmax SR5 with a 5.5' bed and done bunch of upgrade.. love the truck but I was use to the 8' bed and miss it because I use the truck as a truck but I have learned to to drop the tail gate and tie down more... I am also considering to build a truck that has both worlds just have not pulled the trigger yet.
