I just picked up my front bumper ends from my painter. I would like to have them wrapped with a clear bra to avoid any Rock chips. Does anyone know who does that? I'm located in the Castro Valley Bay area. Thanks

After seeing what clear bras look like when they get old I don't think it's worth it personally.

The thing about clear bras is they are designed to be replaced every few years or as needed. You don’t leave them on until they look like crap.

My xpel came with a 10 year warranty. If it lasts that long I'll be thrilled. If not, I'll have them replace it. Lol

Following this thread. I'm interested in the same. Thinking about protective film over bumper caps, grill surround and leading edge of hood. Also, would like to put film inside the door handle wells. Those areas take a beating. Any feedback on what you went with?

You should replace them every few years, long before they start to wear & crack.

that info seems outdated. im in the bay area and have full front xpel ppf installed on my rc f and the tundra goes in a couple of weeks. my bumpers are getting wrapped on the tundra then xpel will go on top and over the full front end coverage. ceramicpro 9h then ceramicpro top coat will go on top of the xpel. work is done by dynamic detail in san jose. top notch work. xpel has a 10yr warranty so it's not designed to be replaced every few years and if it discolors while under warranty they will replace. you have to do your part too and keep up with washing. don't let bird poop sit on it long. that stuff is nasty to paint and ppf.

full front so bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, fog lights and side view mirrors.

To me that just seems silly. Keep replacing a rather expensive clear bra every few years so it doesnt look like crap or just deal with a few rock chips and repair the paint when it gets bad which would be cheaper or the same cost as multiple clear bras. I mean get what ever makes you happy but remember you cant buff and wax a clear bra either which is another downfall in my book. If it was something super cheap and easily replaced on your own id understand more.

I don't care for the product myself, but to each their own.
