About to pull the trigger on this, but I'm weary the glossiness of it will show prints easily. Have you noticed that at all @PRO BLANCO ?

I have not noticed any prints actually.
But I could double check for you. I will go throw my fingers on it see if I notice the prints.

Thanks, if you haven't noticed it yet then it's probably not bad. I do wish it was matte though.

No I did not. THe controls that came with the Tacoma wheel would not work with my setup. I just transferred them from the silver to the charcoal covers and reinstalled them.

Thank you! I’ve been looking and haven’t found any with the same button controls but now that you said you only switched the cover makes sense

You're welcome! There are some that are plug and play but I'm not sure exactly which ones. There are several years of the 4Runner and Tacoma steering wheels that will work on the Tundra.

Are you looking to get rid of a black set & go with a silver set? If so, I'll swap with ya.
Edit: unless it's really glossy...I'd prefer matte.

Where can I find the blackout center console for the cup holder and shift knob, I’m not a big fan of AJT with the bolts. Also did you paint the center AC vents area black as well?

I plasti-dipped the cup holder and the surrounding of the shift knob. The AC vents area I bought from Toyota. The AC vents I also bought from Toyota.

Check the build link in my signature.
    • CENTER PANEL - TOYOTA (55405-0C020-C1) (includes two vents with black trim already installed)
    • AIR OUTLET - TOYOTA (55680-0C050-C0) x2 (this is two more black-trimmed vents)
The panel will run ~$220. The extra two vents are ~$70/each.

Just my 2 cents...save yourself 300 bucks and just black them out yourself. I painted cup and shifter surround with flat black Rustoleum (yeah, I'm sure there's a better product out there for this but it's what I had on hand). 4 or 5 or 6 coats on there, I don't remember. It turned out fantastic and very simple to do. (I originally vinyl wrapped the cup surround but it kept bubbling.)
I vinyl wrapped the head unit surround and vent circles thingys. Head unit surround was a major pain to vinyl wrap. It's held up & looks good, but if it starts peeling, bubbling, I'm going to take it apart and just spray it w/ black Rustoleum (prob something better for that larger job) and call it a day.

    All,

Dumb question I am hoping someone can answer: I removed my switch trim to paint them black and it didn't turn out well. I need to do it again. I've been looking everywhere I found you cannot get just the trim you have to buy the whole assembly (mentioned here). My question to you all is that when I find the part number
(84250-0C100-C0) for this, all of the websites refer to this as an "assembly" or "switch", not switches. I want to know if this part number is the whole assembly, or BOTH sides of the steering wheel, or just one side. Forgive my ignorance please, but the diagrams on all of the parts sites seem to show only one side. Thanks! Wish I had the painting skills a lot of you have!!
