ok team.. I'm new, and deep into the chrome delete process... bent over and ordered the bumper end cap replacements from Sparks.. done..
Bought the color matched hood bulge from a cali dealer.. on the way..
    Now for the Grill..
    1) is the Tss sensor for adaptive cruise or crash sensor?
    2) If I get the 2019 TRD PRO grill and swap it.. any of the "aftermarket" sensor set ups work??? no way i'm paying the $340 for the toyota set up..

    thanks all build is going well;

    - 3" level lift Rough Country - installed
    - 33" BFG AT - installed
    - Vision 17" wheels - installed
    - Tyger RB's - installed

2019 Pro grill doesn't need a relocation bracket, there if a filler plate from ebay that works great and cheap. What year is your truck ?

Mine is a 2019 and this worked perfect for me.

Filler plate? Does your adaptive cruise control still work? I don’t think he’ll be able to get the 2019 pro grill in his color - unless he takes it a paint shop.

Not the proper term, sensor cover. Yes, everything works as it should. He'll need to get the grill painted, should be a couple hundred, pay cash.

    Heres the cover, https://www.ebay.com/itm/53141-3401...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

The other 1/4 I get the “ malfunction see dealer “ bs ....

Might just be the angle of the picture, but that bull bar looks like it might be up high enough to interfere with the Pro grille's sensor location.

People have also posted on here about the ebay sensors not working consistently.....good luck. I am in the process of the same but moving to a Platinum grille instead of Pro because of the sensor issue.

I had a 6" lift installed about 3 weeks ago and was nervous that the lift would throw off the sensor. With the stock SR5 grill, no problems at all. Last week I installed the TRD Pro grill with an aftermarket sensor cover. Now I get the dreaded system malfunction (clean sensor message). The whole time I was worried the lift would create the problem but ironically the new grill lowers the position of the sensor and now I get the idiot light sometimes.

Just put the Pro Grille on with the $30 eBay garnish. TSS error within one block of leaving the house.

Hey guys, I have a video showing where I relocated my TSS on my 2020 Platinum, it’ll work with any grille out there...I installed an aftermarket grille that had no spots for the sensor and I didn’t want to chance it with all the issues with these relocation brackets...I’m going on over 2 months, several road trips, towing my boat, etc, and not a single issue...if anything the adaptive cruise control is slightly more responsive, it picks up vehicles a little farther out than it did in the original location...shoot me a message if ya have any questions on it, but it’s worked perfectly for me and didn’t cost me a dime

I used this and it works like a champ. I mounted click bond studs to secure the sensor.

Do you like the warn winch/hidden kit? Looks rad but for the price I feel like you could just get a whole new comparable bumper and gain better clearance

Replaced my grille on a 2021 earlier and used a $30 eBay cheapo too. Worked fine earlier, just ran to the store now and got this, I'm guessing this is from the cheap grille garnish?

Urgh. Let me know if that instantly solves the problem. Amazing that the Chinese can’t successfully knock off this part.

The $300 garnish arrived and I installed it. I had the TSS error light on constantly since I installed the $30 eBay garnish. After getting one block from the house, the light went off with the OEM garnish. I turned around and came back home. That's the extent of my test but I've no reason to think it isn't fixed now.

Funny note, I asked for a refund on the $30 eBay part and the seller tells me that it only works on 2018-2019 Tundras. Oh really? The Tundra did not use this Garnish until 2019 with the TRD Pro. There was no TRD Pro in 2018. 2019-2021 all use the same Garnish part number. Guess I made too much sense, they accepted the return.

    --

    $300 for TRD Pro Grille
$200 for Cavalry Blue Hood Bulge
    $300 for Garnish
$175 to paint TRD Pro Grille

.. but it looks so much better even if I do feel like a poser. At least there isn't a real TRD Pro in Cavalry Blue with the 2019+ Grille so only half a poser.
