Great article. Can you write something similar for rear suspension discussing aftermarket leaf pack options, shackles, picking correct shock length, and any other misconceptions or errors people make in the rear?

More specifically, if I were to run Fox 2.5 0-3" RR DSC on the front set to 2.5", then in the rear run Deaver U748 with 3/4" Total chaos shackles do I need to worry about the Fox 2.5 RR DSC rear shocks extended length of only 25.02" (claimed 0-1.5" lift)? Does a King RR rear shock with a 26.027" extended length match up better to the proposed leaf and shackle combo? I have a preference towards Fox, but the rear shock length is giving me pause. I'm not sure if that is warranted.

Thats a very specific question, which would be better discussed through a direct message or email. Rear setup is definitely on our list to do, however there are numerous options for leaf packs, shackles etc... We're simply not able to cover them all. When mixing and matching rear end setups and not going with someones kit, you have something completely custom. For custom setups its best to cycle the suspension to then measure for the proper length shocks. Often times it comes down to needing the correct length bump stop for the longer travel shocks to work properly.
