What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Super easy one today, put on my in-channel AVS rain guards.

 

Got to put on my RCI Bed Rack and RTT.
RCI @RCIoffroad went above and beyond for me, helped me with shipping times as well as sending me replacement brackets because I broke the first one I mounted. Just overtightened it and it popped the threads out. My fault there.

Also put on @ragofabrication Bed Stiffeners. Pretty easy install with some moderate drilling required.

Very happy with both products and the end result of the bed!

I threw up my RTT but it was dark so I will open it up and take pictures later!

 

Just a heads up yakima make s 4 bike rack that stores vertical it isn't cheap but anything yakima never is. you can get four bikes in the space of those two you have in the back.

 

I did take off the valve cover and still couldn’t see it. I’ll try the camera next.

Got my new set of tires today!! Went with 295/70r18 On my Trd wheels. Was a bit of a snug fit but definitely looks a lot nicer than stock!

 

When you say "snug", was that just between the tire and UCA? How about the inner fender liner, etc?

Installed the BAK Revolver X4. Love the way it looks, but I noticed it sits a little too low for the tailgate to shut when the cover is locked. Additionally, it's tough to push down and lock the cover with the tailgate up. I've tried adjusting the brackets so the cover sits higher but the result was the same. You can even see where the metal side rails are shaving the plastic on the tailgate Has anyone else run into this issue? How did you solve it?

I thought about adding a small strip of extra weather stripping to the ends so it sits up a bit taller near the tailgate, but I'm not sure if that's a viable solution or not.

 

From Tire and UCA as you can see on my pictures...no rubbing issues at all since I do have the Trd Pro suspension which is a bit taller than a stock Tundra suspension

 

Wrap is almost finished! I was on the fence about the color but I’m really liking it now.

Coverking Spacer Mesh. I mainly got them because they are machine washable. They won't stop any spills but for general dirt and stuff have been good. Fit fairly well, the front seats could fit a bit better on the lowers though. You can stretch them and tighten them to cover it all, but still pull up after a bit.

 

She’s just a pup! 1000 miles in and I am in love. Hopefully a couple hundred thousand left in her.

That's odd..I have a Bak-Flip cover as well on the Tundra I bought previously-owned.
It has, what looks like, weather strip in that same location. Definitely worth it to keep the water out of the bed.

 

Will do, I pick it up on Sunday. Seems like the shop is really taking their time which I appreciate.

Yes that was my main concern what i was considering wrapping my last tundra

 

with MGM, probably pretty good. MGM and black would be fine for almost any wrap job.

 

Finally got my RB10s. I’ve spent the last two months trying to decide on what kind of steps to buy. Think I made the right choice.

Also installed the Rough Country 1.75’’ spacer kit. Haven’t noticed any changes in ride. Hopefully it stays that way.

 

Those are very nice un-obtrusive steps. Good choice.
That rough country spacer was the least (unless there is a 1" spacer out there lol)amount of lift spacer i could find. Can you post dead on side shot picture before and after comparison?

 

This is the best that I have. First is at the dealer when I took delivery, second is tonight. I went with this one because I wanted to run stock tires for as long as I could, so didn’t want any lift in the rear. There is exactly 1in of rake, which I like.
