    Can you interchange a 93 4Runner rear end in a 2000 Tundra?

I’m pretty sure the 1st gen Tundras share the 8.4” diff with 2nd gen Tacomas, albeit different ratios, while the ‘93 runner would have an 8” diff.

No. The 4Runner is a MUCH narrower vehicle and it has coil springs.

    I second this.

also I believe that the t-100s also had the 8.4

I don't think our rear is shared with the Tacoma. If it were people would have been retrofitting the e locker into first gen Tundras.

The T100 3rd member might match though, that is where Toyota's proudly priced 4.30 gears come from. I'm not sure that the whole axle would swap over if that's what you're looking at.

E-locker Tacoma diffs are 8” (both first and 2nd gen, I’m unsure about 3rd gen), while “non-TRD off road” 2nd gen Taco’s have the 8.4”, same as a first gen Tundra. Available in open or mechanical LSD, the only lockers are aftermarket.

    Confused yet? ;)
