A little late to the party, but I figured I'd chime in. I have had my Tundra since May of 2018, and just had the TRD Exhaust installed a few days ago. I have noticed no loss of torque or loss of low end grunt. If anything, I'd say it feels a little more chipper, but that's probably mostly psychological due to how awesome it sounds. So far, I'd say it was probably one of the best decisions I've made for my Tundra and I'd highly recommend the TRD Exhaust to anyone looking for an exhaust system.

I had the stock muffler. I hated it. Toyota mastered a way to hush that beast 5.7l. I purchased the TRD duals, swapped out at the cats and DAMN! Not obnoxious however adding a classic look and a nice throaty rumble when you hit the gas. I noticed an IMMEDIATE increase in throttle response. Perhaps a slight loss of low end torque but definite gain in horsepower and you can litterally feel the lack of back pressure upon tapping gas, instead of backpressure you get a growl or rumble depending on how you drive

Might as well chime in also. I bought my 2019 TRD offroad of the showroom floor with the TRD DUALS already installed and I hated the look of tail pipes behind the mud flaps so I sold it (after a few months of use) and made my own dual exhaust with some Spintech mufflers and modified dual tail pipes and noticed zero performance difference..... truck felt the same as it always did.
HOWEVER I recently changed things up again and had to put the stock SINGLE exhaust back on for a few days and WOW WOW WOW I noticed a HUGE difference in low end torque !! Dont care what anyone says but the TRD dual exhaust (and my custom dual exhaust) were robbing my truck of all the fun. I will be keeping a SINGLE exhaust (with a new muffler) on my truck from now on !!!
The difference was overwhelming to me I dont inderstand how people cant feel it ???
So to be clear I drove my 2019 Tundra for a year with TRD duals and modified duals and only drove a Tundra with single exhaust for the first time just the other day. I know what duals “feel like” and I can guarantee my Tundra is 10x more peppy with the single back on. If your not supercharged or running headers, tunes etc .... then stick with the single people ! Only thing I miss so far is the dual sound but I’ll take the better driving experience any day over sound.

WTF? I’m sure they could but Keith has got it placed just so and dialed in that it’s tuned to the truck. Plus if you don’t like it he will take it as a return and exchange it for a different size that you want. Mind your own business. I don’t need you coming over here talking shit on an old ass post. Do whatever the hell you want leave me out of it.

Maybe you should take me out to dinner before you try whispering sweet nothings into my ear.

I'm not picking sides, and I say this with all respect..... But I know and deal with a local exhaust guy, and there is no way he is building that for less than $300.

Haha I missed whatever happened after my post. Maybe I was a little harsh but I’m not gonna take it back. Maybe get to know me before you talk down to me like I’m some kind of idiot. I would’ve taken that from one of the veterans around here that know me (friends). But of course it’s hard to read someone’s tone of voice through text.

In stainless with matching flanges so that it bolts right up and you can always go back to stock with zero welding. Basically the system will last me the life of the truck. I’ve met many exhaust guys and they tell you they can build something for you and it turns out looking like a hack job with booger welds. I know there’s good guys out there but it’s a bit hit and miss where I live. This exhaust was a sure thing so I jumped on it. Plus it’s supporting a small business which I love to do.

That's my point. It's a bolt in product (no welding required) that replaces the stock section and clamps into the stock tailpipe using factory clamps. A shop could probably accomplish something similar for around $300 if they cut up the stock section and welded everything in, and cut and welded a resonator tube into the tailpipe. But that's not apples to apples.
