Truck has no reverse or low gear

    My truck has no reverse or low gear can I find some help here or am I wasting my time?

    You can probably get really good help here, especially during week days when there’s more people checking the forum.

    You could also post a more specific (less attitude-? ;)) question on the thread below and get good responses from a small group of regular 1st gen aficionados that interact there but stay clear of a lot of the rest of this forum and might, therefore, miss this thread. Good luck!

    First thing as usual is to check the fluid level. Truck needs to be running and up to temperature. Shift through all the gears and return to park. Then check the dipstick.
