hopefully getting a rivnut tool on Sunday (on a tool purchasing ban for 2020 so utilizing holidays/birthday) so I can install the t-rails (not pictured) and get a setup that would look something like this..

Next would be a custom overhead tracrac to sit on the rails..

From the batteries not lasting, and the camera not turning on having to pull the battery to get it to turn on. To missing good recording thinking it was working they are garbage espcially for the price.

This is what I bought an it has work flawless and the vid quality is good enough for me.

Some footage, this was me almost going into the wall after both tires blew out and both wheels cracked and folded..

Thanks it was my fault for trying to sneak past a slow bike in the chute then over compensating when he drifted over. Credit goes to the bike she's not let me down yet and I've had plenty of close ones.

Wish i had researched it a bit more, if I had gone with the other model I would still have access to my tool chest. This one, I had to take it out. Guess I'll sell it soon.

Bought a new shift knob, because I hated the factory chunk of ugly plastic.

I have the 17" griddle. I was looking at getting this. Can you use the "deep fry" burner as just a burner with a regular pot or pan?

I had the rails installed from factory. It's a pretty good setup for bikes and what not. I've been wondering how it would do with a RTT.

yes it’s a regular burner and the deep fryer pan clips into it. Just remove the deep fryer pan and it’s an exposed burner with a cast iron grate

Nice! Yeah, I’m stoked to get it installed. Not sure where they’re supposed to be mounted on the rails but I’m hoping it’s pretty apparent.
No clue about a RTT but i would think it would be alright since it’d be pretty low and protected from most wind.
Planning on using the rails for short boards fishing rods during the summer and during winter ski/snowboard on one half and a yak/Thule box on the other side.
End goal, as stated above, is to have a tracone fit on the rails too with custom landing pads. This is for lumber, longboard, canoe and diy fly rod holder. I’ll let you know how the pads turn out. Yakima Overhaul HD would be more plug and play but it’s also $700.

So I read. Need a list of what you’ve done, to know what more you *need*. Depends on how you use your truck. I’ll check back to that other thread, see what you’ve said about what you’ve done so far.

I had the original Go Pro HD and it served me fine for the course of it's life (almost 10 years). Just got the Hero 7 Black, used it once so far. Battery lasted 45 minutes in 4k 60fps (terrible imo). I dislike I had to buy the case separate to get actual protection for the LCD screen. Also the USB C cable it came with was so low quality my PC wouldn't even recognize it as a device to open in windows explorer (thankfully I have an Android phone that uses USB C and I already had a high quality cable to use).

The footage quality is so much better than my old one though. I'll just buy another battery and take it along and swap it out.

2 tesla powerwall home batteries wired up and running. long process but pretty cool. i originally thought they only come on in an outage but they actually power the house throughout the day when they get to a certain charged point. today we powered 75% of the house from solar and battery, no grid draw - and the a/c was set to 71 all day. 90+ outside. heck yeah! ready for the next pg&e power outage in CA.
