What year of sequoia roof racks did you use? And what did you need to modify to make it work? Looks nice

Finally got time to do a quick install of the Firestone airbags on my truck. Had them on my Tacoma and they were a game changer! So glad to finally have them on the Tundra. Need to get under there and do a little more touch ups up the undercoating as wonderful BC can do some nasty work to exposed metal. Forgot to take a picture of where the air lines mount but I ran them through the bolt holes that the license plate attaches with. Super clean look and most people never notice them.

Finally put in my ICS Dash Plate for the iPad set up with RAM mounts. With it set at this level, I have 0 visibility loss and it's much more versatile than the on board nav.
My biggest concern was how it would hold up but it is an impressive combo.

I also put in the Rago Bed Stiffeners.. getting ready for a RTT.

Keep an eye on that rubber ball. Mine was good for a bit, but as time goes, it gets very soft and now my phone is shaking violently all the time. It used to only be on trails, but now if I hit a small bump, it's all over the place. I'm not very happy with the Ram product. I hope you have better luck.

Did you buy from an approved RAM vendor?
The same thing happened to me and it turned out I unknowingly bought a fake. The mount looked identical to the real thing and had me totally fooled.

Bought from Ram. I used to wheel with others that had the same setup. Might have something to to do with the FL heat, but the 3 others who had the same setup complained of the same issues. 2 of them went 67d and are not having the issue anymore. Even ICS is recommending 67D over Ram. I did have a short chat with them and they acknowledged the issue. I asked if they had experience with 67D and they said it's vastly improved. It's all about the material. Something soft and susceptible to temperature will degrade over time and deflection will increase.

I completely agree about the heat and soft material. I’m not sure if I will replace the fake RAM with a legit one or move over to 67D. I’ve heard real good things about them too!

Didn’t do a video on my rock light install at the time but had several viewers ask for one, so here it is...it’s honestly a super easy install, hope it helps!...the airbag video and Stillen video will be up this weekend!

I will be going with the 67D. They use metal balls with hard clamps. They have a new rail system out for the various slotted mount plates. It's a bit more pricey, but it seems mega solid.

Dang dude, tore up 26 didn't ya? I use to have to go to Columbia, from Greenwood, at least once a week for a meeting with my boss, just to meet. Hated hitting Harbinson during rush hour.

What line of work are you in?

We're heading to Hilton Head this weekend so it came in just in time and will be handy. Bad thing is I lost access to my chest tool box. I had to take it out. If I had gone with the other design I probably would have been ok but I did the low profile thing. I'll probably be selling the tool chest soon.

If I ever hit Harbison during rush hour, I'd make it a "Rush's" hour!! Always gettin' my Rush's on when in Columbia!! I know all about a long ass commute...did 3.5 hours a day running back and forth between Moncks Corner and West Columbia for 4 LONG years...now that stretch of 26 is unbearable...
