Ok guys so I’m about to finally install this thing that I had for over a month but my last concern is how the hell to get these plugs thru the firewall? I see the nipple under the main harness but I don’t think this would go thru. So how is every one doing this?

I used a really long big screw driver and pushed on the side of that rubber boot. You can push it to the side. Pull the wires through and position them at the bottom of the boot and push the boot back on, never had any issues

De-pin the white connector, feed them through, re-insert. just make sure you remember which wire goes where ;)

Just be careful if you use a screwdriver. I did it on my ‘03 and sparked something in the cab....lost my throttle...thankfully It was just a fuse, but certainly scared the crap out of me when I had no throttle.

It’s in the instructions. Page 3. Even says it’s for putting the wire through tight spaces.

A dental pick and small flat micro screwdrivers are what I use often. They always work for me, especially on connectors like the white one.

    Best luck!
