Will blow cold, then warm up slightly. Compressor is engaging. Thoughts before I dive deeper? Maybe low Freon?

Very possibly low freon. Those little refill cans at the parts house a cheap enough to start there. You can get one with dye to check for leaks too.

Compressor going out also a possibility.

Filled my freon twice and it was my Compressor so replaced it.

An A/C Failure would be a huge bummer. Sounds like when something goes bad that the proper fix is to replace everything or risk contamination of the new parts?

Make sure the cabin air filter is clear. Leaves, and other crud, can cause the AC to feel like it's not working right. I noticed mine wasn't working quite right and found a mouse nest on top of the filter. The bad part was that some of the nest fell down into the fan and I had to pull it to get it all cleaned out. Once it was clear and a new filter was in place, everything went back to normal.

Is it while driving or sitting at a stop? Mine will warm slightly at idle but is consistent while driving. I chalked it up to poor airflow after having the pressures checked.

A/C is one of those deals where it pays to have a pro look at it. The correct tools and gauges make a large difference.
