Hey whats your VISA #? :D

Nice order. I’ve been looking at those since @TX-TRD1stGEN posted his pics up. Waiting on his wiring pics to make sure my feather dusters will work in conjunction.

I have been looking at them also, cross checking with what I found on crackbay. It just makes sense at that price, I could maybe slap it together cheaper but why? I didn't plan on jumping in for a couple weeks but the misses spent $2,800 earlier today SOOOOOOOO :spending:

From what I recall there's a specific order that needs to happen. Like doors closed, key in on position, then key off and driver door open.

It does not work for instance from the passenger side, turn the key on, turn it off and open the passenger door.

Just a heads up that the Hermitically Sealed OEM 15 year old in Storage Muffler is so quiet its unbelievable. So stoked it came my way. Saw anther guy selling his Taco brand new 10 year old muffler on dreggsliss. Must have gotten tired of looking at it or got the Corona Clean Up Virus and wants $100 for it. Looks brand new. Wonder if a Taco Muffler would fit on Tundra without major work?

FUUUUUCK who ever invented 12 point sockets and wrenches. Fuck them. For how rarely you need them they are way to common compared to 6 points. I mean jesus christ.

Nah. No experimenting with the muffler on my part, but I’m sure @empty_lord will fill us in. Sounds like he scored on some nice parts.

They're cheaper to manufacture than 6 point since they don't require as much precision.

Not saying there aren't nice 12 point but they're far outnumbered by the cheap ones.

6 point sockets are worth the money.

I started with the harbor freight 12 points, and found they sucked when you really needed them not to.

I like tekton, but I also like all my stuff to match.

    Fellas, question for the group.
    What are these called? 20200616_172414.jpg

These go inside the rear bumper near the ends. I messed the other one up pretty bad.

Tomorrow, may see about cutting up some of my spare 3X3 tube into angle iron for running boards after eyeballing @Professional Hand Model's design.
    20200616_211626.jpg
I dry fitted the running boards today, and saw the two threaded studs (pink/purple location) above both rear mounting brackets. Eyeballed a 2inch gap between end of bracket, and the stud.

You used self tappers in green location? I know there was mention of self tappers, but not 100% where application was.

Had to dig into the archives for this picture. Lol

While I was out, and about today. Stopped off at a little eatery to wade through the masses rushing into establishments demanding to be fed with newfound stimuli.

Fried okra, Loaded baked tater, and 16 oz steak, medium rare. Sweet tea for refreshment. :D

The bread is the steak juice sponge. As you cut up your steak, you lose juicey juices. Use bread, sop up juice, like mop, enjoy. Mmm tasty.

Aw geez. Now I'm starting to think about pulling the back seats out of my truck. I don't remember the last time I had someone sitting back there. I'd build a decent platform or something and then I could sleep back there, or just have more useable gear hauling space.

@Professional Hand Model where did you get your gas cap? Did you have a recurring code that made you get it?

I keep getting that evap code every 2nd or 3rd time I drive, so I'm wondering if a new cap might solve that.

I bought one at Autozoned for about $8 after my high dolla service manager diagnosed the CEL over the phone. Autozoned put on their OBD reader and it came up fuel canister something or another that cost $500 for the part. Called High Dolla and he said buy a new cap. It cured the problem.

Since then, I bought a High Dolla Toyota Cap from online store because it has a leash that hooks to the door where the Autozoned one doesn’t.

Do you guys think I'm making a mistake by just rattle canning my bumper instead of having it powder coated? I have a feeling once I get this beast on I'm not going to want to remove it.
