I have a 2005 tundra sr5 v8, owned it for 15 yr, love my truck, never give any problems until now. No response on gas peddle. Got code p2118 , trottle actuator motor. I thought the motor was bad and not responsive so I changed the trottle body and relearn the idle ,but still no response on the peddle. Check engine light is on and very rough idle and it jerk whe I put it drive. I tried resetting the computer by unpluging the negative battery cable,, erase current and pending codes,, nothing seems to work.Where do go from here can any help.

I assume the ECTS fuse is good then. If the hot post on the battery gets grounded that's typically the first fuse to go which in turn throws that code and puts it in limp mode.

I checked all leads on battery terminals and wiring harness.

Take a look around the pedal, the switch may have come dislodged or faulty

typically the newer throttles like your 05 have, its rare for the motors to go bad. its usually the pedal (also rare) or wiring.
