The headrests might have been one of the most difficult parts. I tried suction to pull the air out of the foam and it helped some, I also wrapped the headrest in one of those thin grocery store bags and it helped slid the cover over. Just take your time and it will be all good. I tried to save the seat covers I was removing but that wasted a lot of time so I gave up and cut them off. Just watch for the airbag canister.

Day three and last of the big adds, all that's left for now is a few cosmetic things to do here and there. Installed a RetraxPRO XR cover, it's only been on for a day but I really like it so far. Got a good FL summer afternoon downpour yesterday and not a drop of water was seen inside. I know some eagle eye on here is going to see it so I'll address it now, yes I installed the drain tubes from the bottom of the box lol. The second picture with the cover open was taken before I had installed them.

Looks good!...I have the PowertraxPro XR on my ‘20 Platinum, love it...all my buddies almost shit a brick when they see me press a button to open/close it...lol...and I agree, I’ve had mine on for months and no issues with water getting into bed at all...plus it’s nice to have the built in tracks on the XR for racks over the cover

    A bunch
Just have to make sure to keep checking alignment with those retractable covers. Unless they've fixed them since I had mine the lock side will always stay good, but the passenger side will creep up and leave a gap, twice in the 2 years I had it I ended up with a 2" gap between the tailgate and the cover on that side.

Just bought one of these bad boys this week from tonneaucovered.com - best price I could find. They had a sale and saved around 500.00 with the sale, no tax and free shipping. They said 10-12 days before I see it. I have a 2018 1794 and it came with the OEM flip cover, so we're going to put that on my sons 2013 Tundra Platinum. Hopefully no issues with fit. I also bought a full bedbug through the same company, 100.00 less than anywhere else with free shipping and no tax. Now we have to sit back and wait.

I did the back seats yesterday. The first one is always tricky, but after that it’s just time consuming. I forgot to check my inventory of hog rings so I’m on a break until Amazon brings more today

Yea thankfully I’ve never had that issue with the power cover...had it on my last tundra as well and it worked flawlessly, but I can see what ya mean with the ones ya have to manually pull

I'm inclined to say they'd look awesome on a blacked out version! I had modified mine a bit on my old tundra and liked the black and red lookScreenshot_20200613-103235_Instagram.jpg

Been a busy day for my truck... UPS came with the TRD Pro Grille so I threw that on

Those end caps gotta go next but I think I should take a break with discretionary truck spending for a little bit. Over the course of a month I’ve probably spent around $1k on stuff I didn’t really need, but got anyway. :p
    :spending:

I’ll never save up enough for a lift if I keep nickel and diming myself every time I visit the forum and think “Well, that looks cool...” lol

When I bought the lift a couple years ago(went on a 20% off deal), wife said no more this year. Last year I bought the wheels and tires, wife said no more the rest of the year. Now I gotta figure out if 2021 is calling for exhaust, grille, bumpers, or headlights/tail lights. Lol

That's what I was leaning towards, if not then lights. I was considering Move bumpers, but after yesterday seeing my welds...IDK! HAHA
It's hard for me to justify that amount for the amount of power increase you get. I know it would definitely be noticable and I would enjoy it, but 5-7k for it, hard to justify

I've used a retractable cover for 6 years now, and have never seen what you describe. But I did go back and double check the bolts after a few months to make sure they were still tight.

It’s not much but I got these little accents from tuffskinz bc I have some katzskin coming in that will have some red stitching so I wanted to have a little touch of red to compliment it a bit.

The tracks never moved on mine, it was all the the cover. The spring was just too tight and pulled the passenger side that wasn't locked forward.

I haven't read any negative comments anywhere about any alignment issues after install but I had already planned on keeping an eye on it especially during the first few months after install. I'll keep my eyes open and hope it stays put!
