Hey guys, I'm a couple weeks out from attending my NFPA 1001 Level 1 and 2 boot camp. I'll be writing the ProBoard exams in order to gain certification. I'm wondering what I should be expecting. I'm not worried about the practical section as I tend to pick that up quickly and have a good idea what's required. , but the written section is a bit of a mystery.

From what I can find, 70% is a passing grade. I had to have 80%+ to get through the online course, so that should be ok. What I can't find is how many questions there are, or how much attention is given to certain sections (hazmat, hoses, ladders etc). The other thing that is bugging me is that some of the practice exam questions ask what a specific NFPA standard is, for example NFPA _____ states such and such.

Any tips and tricks for doing well on these exams?
