Hi all. So I got out to a dealer yesterday to check out a Tundra. I wanted to check out the difference between the double door and the crew max. DD is all the room I really need, though the CM is spacious. I really like the upgrade package to get the bucket seats and larger front console. I was really surprised at how small the console is on the SR5 without the upgrade. Another thing, please tell me that I would get used to the floor shifter that comes with the package upgrade. Not a big fan of it at first sight, but would be worth it to get the bucket seats and much larger front console. I am impressed with the general appearance of the truck, as well as the power train. Thanks in advance

I haven't seen the SR interior. I have the SR5 TRD package in a CrewMax and I love it. It all depends on what you need. I have never had a truck with a column shifter, and all my previous vehicles have have a manual transmission, so the shifter on the console feels right to me.

I forget which options came with the SR5 package but I think you also get a power driver's seat, adjustable steering column, and alarm.

I doubt you will regret either decision, as long as it says Tundra on it you should be happy!

(just fyi) the SR5 doesn't necessarily get you a power seat - I didn't get one in my new truck. Happens to be my biggest gripe! Anyone know if its even possible to get one after the fact???

Sure it is. Anything after market is possible. I would imagine it's like installing after market seat warmers, just probably more of a cost.
