So much better than risking stripping the threads on a drain plug each time you change your oil! I had one one my Dodge and was afraid if it opening by accident, but after using it, I realized it had a safety to prevent accidental openings.

I think mine is either defective or I ordered the wrong one. It takes 90 minutes for all my oil to drain.I'm tempted to try another one.

Heavily considering this, any accessories you guys would HIGHLY recommend? Also, anyone have issues with the level actuator getting stuck in the winter or clogged and stuck from debris?

I bought the 103N and installed on my previous oil change. It looks like the newer 103SX allows you adjust the drain after installation. My first oil change to utilize the valve will be in about 2 weeks. Looking forward to a clean change.

It uses a 3/8” tube that you can run directly to the drain pan. I’d also recommend this for filling the oil. Yes it’s more pricey than a 99¢ funnel but it’s fool proof. I have a Lexus it works with too.

Is this a standard oil drain time for the 5.7?

I have a 1st gen Tundra with the 4.7. Apparently I'm unique because it doesn't seem to take this long for anyone else.

Maybe leaving the oil cap on makes it take longer?

I tried that and it didn't make a difference. My oil was cold though. Next oil change I'll do it warm, apparently that makes a big difference.

Yea cause that’s a long time to wait.

Hope it works out for you. Sounds like a good purchase.
