Thanks guys! im working on making her great again! It's been fun.

I have the Sony XAV-68BT DVD Receiver in my truck, but the newer model of that head unit is this one.

Ive been really happy with it. Plays DVDs for the kids for trips, has bluetooth with hands free (required here in GA), and the backup camera is a must for me.

Screwing around with some Vinyl to save my windowsills at the moment, just practicing as i have no experience with vinyl. Happy so far and saves me $460 to replace these. The vinyl was like $15 on Amazon.

Finally got the lift installed. The Big spring compressor i rented, didnt work....so i had a local shop install the parts

OME 2.5" Strut and Spring in front
    SPC Adjustable Upper Control Arms
    1.5" Spacer in the rear

Very very happy with the outcome. Drives like nothing was changed.

Now to find the right tire/wheels

I left it. Literally only replaced the muffler with this new one. I drove on the highway today and it’s noticeable in the cab but not enough to be irritating. My wife and kids ride in my truck a lot so I didn’t want it to be obnoxious. I’d say it’s what I was looking for. Deep and throaty! Planning to add a black tip to the stock pipe is all that left for it.

    Thing looks awesome!

You could always get the 2000 degree paint and just paint your exhaust tip. That’s what I did since I had some laying around.

Yea thinking about giving it a shot. I have grill spray paint but not sure that will work. Thanks for the tip!

The grill paint will work well. I’ve even painted my entire exhaust system with it. I’ve even used regular flat/matte just on the tip with success in the past.

Good on ya for not being obnoxious with the muffler system. Was stuck beside a goofy Ford the other day on the highway and the drone at 55mph was unbearable for the 30 seconds being next to him. Couldn’t imagine what its like inside full time!

Thanks man! im definitley going to give it a try, i have the paint and i think it will look better black. Yea im not into the REALLY loud exhaust. just enough for a throaty kinda deep sound when i start and am putting around. Still want my wife to enjoy riding in the truck. I dont notice it much on the highway really.

Been really busy with moving and life. Finally got new tires and wheels after the lift. Went with 285/70r17 Nitto ridge grapplers on Fuel Hostage wheels 17x9. I wasn’t interested in trimming the bumper to try and fit the 295s. Loving the look so far and it drives so well.
