    08 Tundra v6 4.0 with 400,000 miles and running like a champ
None at the moment , everything s original, replaced starter just recently and have to replace the secondary air valve , but that's the only things fixed on the truck , has same motor same tranny, 400,000 miles on it , so I am happy I didn't have to fix anything thru 400,000 miles cant beat that, and truck is running like a champ, its unreal how clean and smooth running the truck is , to me its. The same as the day I bought it and drove it off the lot, I am amazed and so excitedly happy about the reliability this truck has and how it drives just as good I deove it off the lot, tons of vehicle s would be lucky to see 200 or 300 thousand miles, mine is at 400 this and miles and like brand new, sorry I get excited when the ford Chevy and dodge guys. Have to buy another vehicle or 2 while ill still have the same one lol its great I love it
I am a new member that just signed up and joined the TUNDRA FAMILY, I am not a new owner of one , I bought one in 2008, its a 4.0 v6 with 400 thousand miles on it, and its just amazing how good that truck is with that type of mileage, I consider the feeling to be the same if not exactly the same as the day I drove it off the lot.I AM DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH MY TUNDRA MAN,everything is original, but the starter cause that just went out and right now I am dealing with the secondary air valve, which sucks but it lead me to this amazing place ,where its TOYOTA or TUNDRA LIFE and where from what I see as a outsider looking in kind, caring, considerate, and helpful ppl that love TUNDRAS and LOVE BEING ABLE TO HELP AND HAVE SIMPLE CONVOS ABOUT THINGS OR PROBLEMS SOMEONE IS HAVING ,WHICH IS FREAKING AWESOME TO ME.. CAUSE ACTUALLY I AM NOW THE ONE WHO NEEDS HELP LOL.. Like I said something s wrong with the secondary air system, I honestly think the problem is the cable and not the pump because I hear the pump turn on and run and then turn off so I could be wrong and if I am please let me know , definitely new to this, so basically my opinion is that its the cable stuck open or closed, the good news is ,my truck is the 4.0 v6, and my cable is perfectly right on top , where as the 4.7 or 5.7 v8 u have to take exhaust manifold off and way more than what mine is, alright so HERES MY QUESTION..I AM STRUGGLING AND LOW ON CASH DUE TO THE COVID VIRUS,BEEN OUT OF WORK FOR 2 MONTHS ,LIVE IN FLORIDA, AND THE WHOLE UNEMPLOYMENT THING IS JUST A MESS, AND THE WEBSITE FREEZES UP CAUSE SO MANY PPL ARE IN MY SAME POSITION AND FLORIDAS NOT PAYING OUT AND DOING WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO,ANYWAY I AM SRY LIL EMOTIONAL ABOUT THAT I AM A SINGLE FATHER WITH A 2 YEAR OLD AND HAVE NO JOB OR MONEY COMING IN TO HELP, BACK TO WHAT I WAS SAYING , I DONT HAVE CASH RIGHT NOW TO FIX IT, IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO CLEAN THE VALVE AND NOT HAVE TO PAY THE 3 4 HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A NEW VALVE, AND ALSO WILL IT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK IF I DRIVE IT LIKE I NORMALLY DUE, LIKE CAUSE I GOT TO LOOK FOR A JOB AND TAKE MY SON TO SCHOOL, SO WILL DRIVING AROUND AND NOT FIXING IT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE .. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP AND ADVICE THAT ANYONE COULD GIVE ME,GETTING THIS FIXED WILL BE A HUGE WEIGHT OFF MY BACK, CAUSE I WORRY ABOUT WETHER OR NOT DRIVING IT LIKE IT IS , IN LIMP MODE AND NOT FIXED GOING TO DAMAGE OR KILL MY TRUCK TOTALLY, SO THANK YOU GUYS , GLAD TO BE APART OF THE FAMILY , AND ANY ADVICE OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
    THANKS TUNDRA CHRIS
