Trying to find a black emblem for a 2004 tundra 1st gen to go on the grill. I need to order a new grill and they don’t include the emblem and I would like it to be black.

It’s a woods truck. So that kinda thing happens now and then. Glad it wasn’t the wire fence line again that really messes things up.

They are all over Ebay, and overpriced. Get one from a salvage yard and paint it.

Yeah I just can’t figure out which one on eBay I need. There are so many unclear options

    Mine was trash.
    So I sanded and painted.

it’s not perfect, but cheap and easy.

mine was chrome and is missing lots of pieces that hold it on the grill...sanded, primer, paint, clear, and molding adhesive are holding it together. And a little hot glue...

I have an extra one you can have. It’s sprayed with black raptor liner and all the tabs are intact.

looks great but holy rock-chips Batman!

might be worth it to get the little paint pen for $20 and take an hour to fill those suckers in!

Yea i know right! worst part about my truck. pisses me off. Bought it from a guy who used to drive a lot of dirt roads so that's where it started, but has since flaked even more since ive owned it. Also pretty sure Salsa Red paint has some sort of defect from MFG, it's happening all over the truck, but the hood is the worst. Getting a quote from Yota to have them repaint the hood, as much as i want to try myself, it's a pretty noticeable part of the car and id be made if it looked like crap. Im going to fix the roof myself, the clear coat has failed completely, but no rust. It's also spent all 16 years of it's life outside in GA....But i did just buy a rattle can of Salsa red, so maybe worth trying before i let the dealership do it...im hoping they can do it for less than $500.
