Bought my 2013 CM Platinum about a month ago now. In the last couple weeks I started having an issue with the front driver's side parking sensor.

According to the manual the front sensors do not indicate until you are under a certain speed (off the top of my head 3mph). When I am parked, but in drive or moving very slow, the sensor is on SOLID BEEP constantly. Sometimes it will blip off but turn back on.

The sensor is clean of debris......what else should I check?? It's not easy to get to so I thought I would ask first (search didn't turn up much of anything).

    Thanks!

I had the same issue. Drove me nuts. I would be stopped at a red light and it would beep. So I turned it off and hadn't have it on since.

Damn that was a fast response...

Same here though. I also turn it off cuz it's annoying. BUT, I park in enough tight places that I need to use it and don't want to go without it!

Check the retainers and the wiring harness mounting locations. If there's anything loose they can move around and give false alarms. I backed mine into a honda accord leaving discount tire. Might not have if I had them on. Got an aftermarket bumper, the body shop didn't replace the retainers and the bumper doesn't have any place to attach the harness to. Got it working with new retainers and got some weld mount things to glue onto the bumper to attach the harness to. Our trucks are badass but hard to see out of, don't be like me and shut it off then run over little cars!

On the front you should be able to get to the back side of the sensors by taking off the Lower inner fender liners.

I honestly didn't think I needed them when I first got the truck. Hell I have a backup camper now! But boy did I get used to them. Like mentioned above these trucks are hard to see out of. I drive downtown Cleveland every couple weeks for work and park in a tiny parking garage.

That's what it looked like to me. I only had time to check it out if it was simple to get to I.e. Nothing needed removed. I'll try and dig into it this weekend.

A little of this and a little of that.
I've got the exact same issue with mine. I'm taking mine to the dealer on the 21st of this month to see what's up. The thing is I could turn it off and leave it off but I didn't pay extra for the sensors to turn them off. I want them working!

If the plastic is cracked where the sensors mount and they aren't pointing quite straight, that will cause the system to constantly think you're about to hit something.

My issue on my 21 crewmax is All 5 parking sensors are in error. white circle with red line through it. started when replaced stock 275/65r18 tires with 295/70r18. All worked fine with 3" leveling lift with stock rims and tires. All TSS systems working fine. Dealership cannot fix. They did a zero point calibration which has nothing to do with parking sensors. Anyone know how to clear and fix the parking sensor error

ok so it turned out to be a disconnected sensor. apparently an open in the circuit causes all sensors to report as malfunctioning. vs the offending sensor, or at least that is what the dealership advised me today.
