Hey guys, first post and first time on the forum.

Need some advice about the Tundra I just bought.

Tailgate is busted with missing handle, right release bar, and tailgate liner.

Any suggestions on how to repair, get parts, or anything of the like? Let me know it will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Hey thanks for the response!

I'll take a look at those parts.

I was thinking about spraylining the bed and getting the bedliner piece for the tailgate. Know where I could get that in noncarpet form?

Is it missing the bar, or did it fall down in the tailgate? You can get a replacement for cheap off Amazon or rock auto, but they're just that. Cheap. Get a quality one. Replacement is pretty easy. Torx t25 or 30 to open the panel.

Thanks for the picture and the info!

The entire handle and assembly is gone as well as one of the latch bars. So based on your pictures I'll need to purchase the handle and a latch bar.

Does it come with a lock? If so, where can you get it done to match the key?

    Thanks!

The one I got didn't come with a lock, but has a hole for one.

Without the lock I'd hit up a salvage yard to pick one up then take it to a locksmith to get it rekeyed.

You can get a lock cylinder with keys from Toyota if you don't mind having a different key for the tailgate.
