I was at the range a couple weeks ago. My friend and I decided to rent this Sig MPX 9mm carbine. I just loved the look of it, plus it’s a Sig. Let me tell you, it was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had shooting. So fun, when Sig opens back up I’m driving down and picking one up from the factory. Accurate to a fault. I know, give me the grief for a 9mm carbine, but after you’re done go to your local range and try one out!

    Nice looking weapon.
I had some fun with some buddies when I got my then new Ruger .44 carbine. It looks a lot like the 10/22. So I pulled it out of it's case and some of them asked "can I try your new "10/22". I said "sure try it out."
One pull of the trigger nearly put him on his butt. "Muthureffer, WTF is that?!?" That's no 10/22. I said "right you're the one that thought it was. I was just going along with you."
I'm glad he didn't drop it.

Yes that's a fun gun to shoot but I decided to go with Ruger PC 9mm Carbine. If you get a chance try it out I think you might enjoy it also.

Yes you’re right, I like those. I’ve fired the 19100. They’re very smooth.

I have both a Beretta CX4 Storm and a Keltec Sub2000 both in 9mm,the Beretta takes all M9 mags and the Sub2K takes Glock mags.

They are both crazy fun to have and shoot!
Both are pretty dead on accurate too especially after training a little with them.

    Highly endorse the idea!

My man! I’ve been looking for anyone who has purchased the Kel-Tec sub2000. What do you think of the fold option? Pretty easy to carry around I’d bet. I’ve seen videos and every person that shoots them falls in love with them. How’s the reliability? I’m a Glock guy so that’s a huge plus.

    It is pretty amazing basically!
Not a Sig for sure but there is almost no other gun like it at all.
Yes it is easy to carry,I can slip it into a Breifcase with no trouble and often carry on the Hydration pocket of a Moab10 too.

The only real issue for me is getting a Red Dot placed so that I can have it mounted and ready when folded and unfolded without having to move anything around.
I am not ready to get either of the 2 solutions for this on this gun so I just wing it or go without the dot usually but that is the only thing about it that bugs me in the end.
It does feel cheap at first try but I quickly came to appreciate it for how lightweight and rugged it really is even though it just impossibly light!

Never had a Stovepipe or misfire with any ammo I have tried.
Mine is a Gen 2 too which are just easier to live with than the original which I had first.

Works with any Mags I have tried too which is pretty handy when paired with a G17 say for Anti Zombie duty.

Have you looked at the HK SP5 or its clones? It is a really good smooth shooting gun. Nothing like a roller delay gun.

I happen to have that same Ruger .44. Bought it near unused from a coworker in 2006 for $500. Great investment. Easy to do reloads too! Great bush rifle.

I’ve looked at the HKs, never fired one. I feel like less can go wrong with the roller delay too, always good.

I've seen folks grab that .44 and handle it like a 10/22 and lose a thumbnail when the bolt comes back..... not pretty.

They are amazing guns. I thought I loved my MPX until I fired one...I now have four MP5(k). If you do look at MP5s or their clones go Zenith or HK. I bought a PTR 9ct. Works the majority of the time, but have ran into FTF/FTE issues. My Zenith or HK hasn’t had a hiccup at all. I still have my 2nd gen MPX, just haven’t seen the range much nowadays.

One of my buddies bought his wife a Sig Copperhead. I got to shoot it a couple of weeks back at another friends ranch. Really liked it! Very accurate at 25 yds.

So guys, I haven’t been able to get to the Sig factory yet. They’re having issues down there I guess, so I just ordered the incredibly hard to find Kel Tec Sub 2k 2nd gen 9mm G19 version. This is my first online purchase so it’s basically December 10th and I’m 9 years old waiting for that Red Ryder Carbine Action 200 shot Range Model Air Rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time!:rofl:
