Scratch the numbers as I was off. I’d definitely get a New Toy OEM Rack. This is RackDoctor Pricing.

As much as I'd like to use a Toyota rack, the reality is the truck is 14 years old and IMO not worthy of a $500 R&P. The Detroit Axle rack is about $210, so I may go that route.

Just curious how you got your price for $210? All I can get it down to is $250 (shipping extra).

    Little bit

Looks nice! How heavy was the bed? I've heard it's too heavy for 2 guys to lift but hard to guess the weight.

Did you flex your suspension at all to line up the lower mount tabs?

I'm thinking when I do this I may get new u-bolts and remove all the leafs but the top 1 or 2 and throw a wood block in so I can cycle to full compression. Full droop is easier to find.

I guess if I install at my buddy's shop he could just lift my back tire with his forklift. (Which happens to be a Toyota)

Good job. Man now I wanna get mine, I'm so tired of seeing the shocks on the shelf.

What's the extended and compressed on your new shocks? They make the old Icons look tiny.

Do it! Can’t wait to rip with these things!!

Theyre about 12.25” stroke and 19” compressed, 31” extended.

Some comments I wish I could "like" twice. I have to get my garage situated first, and get the head on my Honda rebuilt first, then it will be Archive time.

I'm no expert, and have never actually seen one of these engines in person, but if I had to guess it would be by oil fill?

I'm a noob too. Always will be. Mucho knowledge here on this forum, and on "arguably" the best thread here.

Open your hood, look for a piece of foam at the close side of the drivers side valve cover. It will have a tube coming out of it. Take off that foam and you'll see the valve.

Right there in front of the oil filler neck, but it might be covered in foam pad.20200603_212539.jpg

My fingers are too slender for any hand modeling, until the skeletal model crazy from the early 90's makes a comeback.

The drivers side is the one that has been reworked 5 times since Nov 2019. The Stealer on this 3rd visit pulled the NAPA Inside Retainer Ring and Seal off and put a New Toy Retainer on. They also installed a New Toy Axle Seal and O-ring.

Since I was checking their work and rotating tires I decided to investigate the Pass Side Axle through the ABS Sensor hole and it had the gunk. Reason why I will be doing new Seals on that side. I feel like a pro already and haven’t any experience, yet. :D

Only thing I am worried about is the Ring might have wear grooves and a new Seal won’t work unless the Ring is replaced also. You experience this?

Nice Hand work! Never noticed before, but looks like the 03 came without the Throttle Bracket extra piece that sticks out. I just cut mine off due to it being in the way.
