Ok everyone I have the 3/1 boss lift with spc upper control arms on the way. I have rtx ridgeline rims 18x9 with a +18 offset a phone call away. I was planning on getting the cooper STT pro 295/70/18 tires but the total cost is getting up there. I have found a cheaper set of tires but the size is 285/65/18. (Mud terrain attack). I know with with the about set up everything will work out. Will the new tire size still work without any modification. I will post pics before and after

    Thanks Neil

I'm no expert, but I would think if you wanted a bigger tire than the 285/65-18 you should be able to given your 3/1 kit.

What I can say is I just put BFG KO's on my non-height modified (as of yet) truck, and they clear everything....by a couple of whiskers. I have 18 x 9 wheels with a +25 offset.

285/65/18 works on stock Tundras. So with your lift, you may not like the size of the tires.

I would not go larger than 295/70/18 on your wheels (I have the same offset) unless you don't mind cutting the body mount. My tires (same size) are a few mm away from the body mount.

I just bought one for my spare. This place had free shipping too. So Americas Tire beat this price and mounted free. You might even be able to find cheaper. I found this while waiting in line.
