Even with the gap it’s 100xs better than the stock grill! Looks great!

I agree! A $400 TRD grille is alot cheaper than a new 2020 Limited Crewmax 4x4 TRD! I'm the original owner. Got it in November 2007.

imo not noticeable because your paint job and wheel/tire combo draw the attention.

looks like you have everything needed from the Toyota dealer side. the only thing I had to get from the local hardware store was some bolts. the old grill has studs built in and gets removed with nuts. this is the opposite. Needs bolts and lock washers. I just picked up at Home Depot.

Hey guys, just wanted to throw this out there for the guys that have done this.

For the bulge, does this piece come painted already? Or does this need to be painted by a body shop?

    53111-0C240-C0

I know the grill itself can be purchased in a few colors, thankfully I am Magnetic Grey Metallic, so I have that option. I'm just not sure about the hood bulge.

    Thanks guys!

Yes, it comes painted in the same color options. You need to pick the correct part number.

clicking on the ebay link and scrolling down it calls out:

    90119-A0156 (qty 10) 53191-0C010 (qty 5)

the qty 10 look like the bolts and qty 5 the clips based on diagram in my research. but i don't know for sure. gonna place the order tho.

I have a Sequoia and reused all hardware. Only thing I bought was the grille and the bulge. Did not need to buy any bolts, screws or plastic inserts.

When I did my 2008 Tundra, I did need the clips and bolts. The bulge comes with clips. but your hood will need new inserts to receive them. Also, the 2008 grill uses nuts to remove the grill. (grill has studs) new grill needs 10mm bolts to hold it. no studs on it.

So when you did it, did you need the quantity of stuff as below?

    90119-A0156 (qty 10) 53191-0C010 (qty 5)

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pull the trigger on my setup this week.

I think 2007-09 Tundra's need brackets. I think all 2nd gen need the yellow inserts. Any bolts will work but I'm a little OCD about keeping things OEM.
