Lots of nice Toy OEM Used 16” rims for sale online in the $100-200 range due to everyone going aftermarket and larger rims.

What he said....the only big brake upgrade available to you that I'm aware of is the GX460 caliper upgrade....for that you will need 17s...and any 6 lug Toyota OEM 17s will work.

I’d like to hear from someone about the GX460 caliper upgrade that did only the calipers (minus booster/master cylinder). I went from WE to the WL and the braking is slightly improved, but overall not huge improvements.

Going WL to GX460 I think requires doing the whole works. Calipers, booster, cylinder, etc.

This is why I’d like to hear from others about it.

I would definitely change all the flexible brake lines if they are original. Switch to braided SS with the coating over it.
