For sure. Going to change my pcv valve and cross my fingers. I know its not a big deal but i see my truck as an elegant beautiful toyota pickup, not some ugly oil burning pos

Yeah jack is helpful/need for doing struts. I’d get the aluminum racing jack from harbour freight, I’ve had mine for many years and it’s bearly leaking oil now.

My wife got me this beast for Christmas. It was on sale for a lot less than what it shows now.

Had this one not been on sale I would have gotten the It looks like that one is on sale right now.

I've had good experiences with Harbor Freight aluminum jacks. I recently picked up this one, it's the low profile long reach one. I also like the foot pedal it has, I can get the jack up to the frame fast using that.

I keep a spare hi-lift jack handle close by as a breaker bar/beating stick. Does wonders..

Hey guys. I’ve been putting out cookies and milk and my house is staying safe at night.

Just don’t smoke and fill your gas tank at the same time.

I’ve got a 40 year old green craftsman jack from my Dad that is my go-to. 1.5 ton capacity, and never had any issues. My other jack is an aluminum craftsman that I bought 15 years ago. That one will slowly lower on its own if you just use it without jack stand, so it gets used with stands all the time.

Tomorrow is tire rotation day. Almost 5k miles exactly. I’ll be touching up some paint on the drums and spare tire and inspecting for oil seal leaks.

Been mulling over some ideas on the truck bed for the future. Not sure about if they will come to fruition, but at least they can be pre-gamed for feasibility.

This past weekend I crossed "check point charlie," and spent the weekend with friends in Clarksville TN. I assisted them with a home renovation that they were doing. Driving Pop's 4 cylinder 5-speed nissan on I-24 between exit 11, and exit 4 was... nerve-wracking.

At 80 mph I thought it was coming apart at the seams. Only got worse as I was struggling to keep up with traffic.

Drove an ‘83 Ford Escort 4-speed at 80 mph, when the tread started to come off the tire. Scared the ever loving crap out my friend who was in the passenger seat when it happened...

Can't say I've experienced a sudden loss of tread. I've seen it happen. I have had some pretty wild rides over the years though.

News just said my county is up to 15,709 cases of Covid-19.
But the Covid isn't what's going to get me, trying to keep up with all the online orders - that's going to be the end of me.
Everyone stop shopping online! :annoyed: It turns out you can have too much business. :boom:

Quick thought, does my 01 4x4 tundra share the same drivetrain as an 01 landcruiser? If so thats awesome, cause that should mean it shares the same overall bulletproof reliability

there are a handful of spots on my truck that these fucking webs show up everyday. I get them off and they just come back the next day.

Have you tried bleeding the fluid? My old jack was doing this and I topped off and bled it, never happened again.
