As far as the plastic trim stuff goes, I've been using carpro pearl and I think it's responsible for running. Not sure if I over-applied it or it just does that. May need something else.

I had my cart ready from Shine supply but for the $50usd of product in my cart, they wanted and extra $53 to ship to Canada. Needless to say that ain't happening.

I'll try the Gyeon for the tires but still looking for exterior trim.

I've been using CarPro Dlux on trim.

I recommend Shine Supply Trim Shield but shipping won't work for you. Those are my 2 go to products for trim.

oh, I hadn't been thinking of the Dlux. That's a good idea. Would last a long time as well. Thanks!

And ya, total bummer on the shipping cost from Shine Supply. I can only figure they have to use ground shipping due to the chemicals. Not slagging the company, just saying I'm not paying that much.

I'm still happy with it. Lots of rain this past week and it's still holding up.

A bottle with do a bunch of trim. They say it will last 2 years. I did my truck last fall and all the trim looks new and I haven't applied anything since other than soap when I wash. Going to try my wheel wells here soon.

I did the second application of Instabead today, and I'm still impressed. It's advertised as a 3 month product, I was at 14 weeks and still getting good beading. Nice gloss and plenty slick. Concentrate diluted at 1:19 and applied with a spray bottle. 20 ounces of the diluted product did the entire truck and all four wheels/tires, including the top of the cap. Dan, phogalan, sent me 200 ml of concentrate, I should get about 7 more applications. My only personal experience is with Reload, I'd say Instabead is as good, but much easier to apply.

Did you ever try Hydro2? Seems like Instabead is similar, but I haven’t tried it. I was curious if anyone had tried both. Hydro2 lasts quite a while, is super easy to apply, but doesn’t do anything for gloss. I’d tried a Waxaddict pour on wax a couple of years ago but couldn’t get it to work right. I believe a couple of other guys had the same experience.

Seems like Instabead is a winner from all I’ve read though. Just curious really. I think it will be a while before I try anything new. I purged a ton of stuff recently and am planning to lay off on the excessive purchases. I probably had 15 different sealants on hand at one point. Most of it got one use at most.

@War Machine Give McKees37 HydroBlue a try, it beads like crazy and does improve gloss and color depth. Been using with great results as a topper/sealant on all my vehicles and customers as well for years now.

I haven't tried Hydro2. From the website, it's applied similar to the way Instabead is. I'd be interested if anyone has tried it.
I'm not one to keep trying different things, when I find something that works I stick with it mostly. I think it was you that said some guys just want a clean, protected truck that happens to look good, with minimal effort. That's definitely me.

I’m trying to cut back on buying new products for a while. Just purged a ton of stuff from my cabinet.
