New owner of a 17' Platinum. Love the truck so far, until I started looking at Audio :(

My initial goal is to leave all factory intact. I've been looking and lurking at Texs' Wiring harness pinned thread.
    For ref: https://www.autoharnesshouse.com/41112.html

If my goal is to simply add an amp and sub to the system, Wouldn't I simply wire everything together on those harnesses allowing them to connect through, (except for the pins specified for power)? And then obviously I would only tap into the say... the front L and front R to go to an L2ci. And then from there to my RCA inputs on the additional amp?

I've read plenty of comments about how the signal is garbage after the amp. What kind of results would this yield?

What HU's have delivered the best experience that allows the stock backup camera to work as intended? As I understand it do, all those speaker wires have to be extended up to the HU if I decide to replace the entire system?

You are going to run in to a problem when it comes to modifying a JBL system in a Tundra. Toyota and JBL did some weird frequency separation in the head unit that goes to the factory amplifier. So you will need a good signal processor like the Arc Audio PS8 or the JL Audio FIX and TWK if you want to add amplifiers and good separates.

Talk to James @ Tech12Volts for all your needs. His prices are very fair and he will sell you an all in one bundle. With the JBL systems, your better off going with the experts on it.
