    Thank you!

This is for the stainless steel option only right? Whats the main difference between the two materials?

Stainless is warrantied against rust and anything else that might happen to it.

Aluminized steel is warrantied against everything but rust.

in AZ you don’t necessarily need ss. But with the volume of ss we are doing right now and the lack of aluminized steel we are doing we are actually able to produce it for less $$ in ss than in aluminized steel.

These threads generally wind up having people asking what they sound like, which one to get, and so on. So, as a point of reference, here is a video that shows stock and then the 10" Dirty Deeds system and Keith can tell you what the others systems are going to be like compared to this one. It's just a useful tool for perspective. Use headphones for better quality.

The one I’m very curious about is the standard budget dumped that has the helmholtz resonator built in. I thought the dumped ones usually have drone, but does the built in resonator kill all the drone from it being dumped or is there still some?

The less tailpipe you have the less effective the resonator is going to be. While the drone would be reduced over a regular dumped exhaust, there is no way to eliminate it entirely from a dumped system. Falls under the "you gotta pay to play" category.

Keith, I know you dont have a system for the GX460.
My question is can I put a 6" or 8" DD muffler on mine? It has the 4.6L.

I’m new to this forum but I just got done reading the morimoto headlight GB thread. Wow! What a nightmare. Make sure you read the fine print in grey at the bottom and set your expectations accordingly.

is there an idea of added HP? Has anyone figured that out?

You’re a great vendor for doing this btw. Thank you. I’ve Been waiting.

This only started a couple days ago. However, I've never seen any of his group buys not hit the max quota.

I have the budget system with resonator attached, so not the standard system like is offered on this GB. But maybe this video I put together last year will help give people a point of reference. It’s a straight pipe with no muffler. Turns heads that’s for sure. Keith and his team were awesome to work with back when I purchased.

Thanks for finding that. I want to be able to hear it in the background when cruising around (not completely disappear like stock when cruising), I just don’t want it to resonate inside my head.

I hear mine and it is the 10" muffler system (recommended for towing). I don't have the resonator on it, so there is some drone, but nothing awful. An 8" or 6" are definitely not going to disappear, but a dumped system is going to be LOUD and have drone due to the lack of tailpipe.

From what I can tell, the resonator takes away some of the sharpness of the tone. I remember having a 6” on an old tundra years back and the resonator totally killed drone but also took some of the mean-ness away from it.

Read the info in his first post. You have to call him to be in, and it lasts until the end of June.

My apologies. I just read my post, that was typed in haste as I was getting ready for work(no excuse), and I see that I totally came off as an asshole. Now, to be fair, I am an asshole, but that wasn't my intent with that one.
You're gonna love your Dirty Deeds muffler system. Keith knows his stuff, and if you give him honest info then you can trust his recommendations.

No worries man, we’re good. I’m new to this forum and new to the tundra and I’ve been doing mods left and right on my truck and building it up and the next thing on the list is an exhaust and I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about dirty deeds.

TRD replacement is for trucks with the TRD dual exhausts. The standard is for trucks with the single exit standard exhausts. Big difference is going to be the circled bit in the pic of the dual system below.

    upload_2020-6-9_18-16-31.jpg

Here is what the standard looks like at the same point. Single exit.

Stick with single exit..10in SS little to no drone without resonator. All systems come with the resonator but I chose not to install it..sounds too good the way it is!!
