Curious what everyones go to spray on wax is when you are not using a traditional wax.
4 times a year I use Meguiars ultimate liquid wax, but after I wash the truck I like to use a spray wax (Especially with Love bug season approaching for those in the south)
I've been using Meguiars ultimate quick wax for awhile now with good results. Lasts a lot longer than the shine armor I was using before

I like the turtle wax ice spray, but have used carguys hybrid spray wax and really like it. Turtle wax is easy to get at the store carguys has to be ordered.

I use the Meguiar's ceramic spray wax in between washes since you just spray it on and rinse it off after initial application. But I do like the Meguiar's quik wax when it's washed and dried, then later on I might spruce it up with it. It makes the paint pop quite a bit. I apply the Meguiar's ultimate liquid wax about once or twice a year. I guess with the Hyrbrid Ceramic wax I spray in between sometimes, I don't need to apply often. But I've always been able to get away with a every 6 months wax, or even yearly wax...especially now that I have the garage.

I've only used one "hybrid "wax the ceramic si02 style, it was amazing for a week, then disappeared pretty quick

with me doing the Ultimate liquid wax, then the following wash I spray their Hybrid Ceramic Wax onto it then wipe it in, it lasts quite a while. Not sure if your conditions are different, or not applying it properly....but it's always lasted longer than a week. When you applied it, was it per instructions on bottle? After a wax? What conditions are your truck normally in? Just curious how it only lasted a week.

The hybrid "ceramic " one I was using was shine armor. I followed the instructions. It was amazing at first, but just didn't last long. Could have been the Fl summer sun and rain, but the spray wax i use now seems to last.

Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax. I go thru the touchless wash and then spray on the Quik Wax. Lasts about 2 weeks which is my usual wash interval. I did try some Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Wet Wax yesterday but Im not too impressed with it. Went on pretty thin and didnt leave much of a coating. Ill probably just stick with what I like.

I've been happy with it too. People really seem to like turtle wax seal and shine also and seems to hold up well vs the more expensive brand names

I really want to try something like Carpro's Reload but the stuff I can get at the local autoparts store seems to do "good enough" for my needs.
Im just waiting for my HF polisher to come in and then Im gonaa do a complete paint correction. At that point, I may try something like Reload to see what all the hype/love is about.

I took the advise from guys in this forum and applied quartz 3.0 after my paint correct and I apply reload after every wash (usually 1 a week) I couldn’t be happier with the results. I now use many of the CarPro products. Detailed image is always having a sale I also order from Autogeek that also offers good deals.

A good polisher/buffer goes a long way. I have a dewalt for heavy duty wet sanding and a Rupes for everything else

I ended up ordering a D/A polisher from Harbor Freight and about $120 worth a LC pads and Rag Co.towels. I also ordered the Griots Fast Correcting Cream and Meguiars M205. My truck is in need of a good paint correction so Im hoping to successfully do it myself instead of paying to have it done.

Griots Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is probably my favorite over the counter spray protectant right now. I’ve had it on a couple of my vehicles for a month or more now, and it’s pretty legit.

@NewImprovedRon this stuff makes Radiant Red pop like crazy......

Beadmaker is slicker, and I haven’t compared the gloss side by side, but the Griots certainly seems to be more durable. Not sure I ever really used Beadmaker on the red Tundra, but the Griots has been great on it. You also don’t have to use nearly as much product.

I was board over the weekend, so I watched a bunch of reviews via youtube on spray waxes vs each other. Suprising to me, turtle was ice shine and seal held up against the top, more expensive brands. I had never heard of it.

This was a before and after of when I first got mine. Most panels had light swirls or scratches Fixing the paint your self (or fixing anything) is very rewarding
