Milwaukee battery tools are all we use at work, repairing timber bridges for the railroad. I will probably never own any other brand after seeing how amazing they are. We drill 6 ft long holes with these tools with 3/4 inch holes. The bolts and lags are 3/4 inch and are no problem for the impact. Sure makes it nice when you are on a ladder 20 ft in the air and don't have to try and use giant corded tools at the same time. We still use Stihl chainsaws, but as soon as Milwaukee puts out a battery powered one, im buying a couple for my group. Definitely amazing how battery powered tools have evolved.

I also love Milwaukee, have most of their goodies in my shop. But here's one that doesn't need a cord or a battery. :)

    Flux capacitor!
I sold all my other cordless tool brands and I only have Milwaukee now. They are great for my work needs. Milwaukee does make a battery powered chain saw.
If you haven’t seen this yet look at the new MX Fuel line batteries and tools. They are very impressive!

That totally blows, those kids ain't gonna take care of it. My father in law had a '88 silverado (first year of the 4th gen)long bed that was literally only driven on weekends to haul the trash off. Garage kept the whole time till after he passed away, ma-in-law gave it to her grandson. It's been sitting in the parking lot of his apartment for 10 years now, Truck only has 50k on it, he made an off hand comment about weather seals around the windows are wore out now and wiper blades are dry rotted. I said something about bring it back down here and we'll put it in the garage again but it fell on death ears. He'll sell it soon now she has passed away.

Let us know how that chainsaw works out for you! I've been eyeballing it because I use chainsaws infrequently just like my weedeater. I don't know anyone in real life with one, so you'll have to be the guinea pig. Lol

With gas powered tools I always forget to run ALL the fuel out of them so it cakes up the internals after it sits for X amount of time. Making the next start up troublesome.

For the last 4 years I was getting very very frustrated with myself because each spring I was going through my weedeaters, push mowers, chainsaws, and other things like that. Once in a while I could clean them out correctly, and be fine for another season.

Most of the time after taking the engines apart for the tenth time to clean them out again I would say "fuck this" and go buy another cheap Walmart special.

Milwauke has saved me time, and trouble.

I read this all the time and maybe I'm just lucky but only once or twice have I encountered issues with leaving fuel in equipment. Most of it only sits from maybe October to March though, but my chainsaw fired off this spring after 2 years on non use with no problem

I have the Milwaukee Chainsaw and it's perfect for what I do. We use it mainly on off-road trip with trees down on the trails. My father in law used it at his house and then said he'd keep coming back to get it to use it. I'd recommend it, hands down. The 12.0 battery that comes with it, does great! All you need to add is chain oil.

Mine power tools usually get heavy use in the spring time, and the weedeater gets moderate use in the summer months. Rarely does the chainsaw get pulled out anymore, but it would be very nice peace of mind knowing that I needed it that little 18V motor would work fo' sho'.
Thanks for the feedback. I have been eyballing it very seriously for some time.

The pole saw is fantastic. Similar design, add battery, add bar oil. (Occasionally sharpen chain when needed) Good to go. I use it for pruning our trees of all low hanging dead branches, and of the few braches that I hit my head on while mowing. I think the packaging said it was only good for 3/4 inch limbs, and smaller? I've cut much larger things with it. Lol probably closer to 7-9 inches.

12.0 battery comes with saw?

At my local Rural king 12.0 battery by itself is $200.

Saw kit is right at $500.

Does it come with the "rapid charge" base like the string trimmer (weed-eater) did?

There is no "baby lobster" the Townies buy this en masse and never read the ingredients.

Doesn't matter to me that there's no real lobsta. None of the chinese/sushi places are open locally. I'm just happy to get my sushi fix.

I can't afford the real deal either. Don't feel bad. I'm accustomed to Chinese buffet sushi that has been out for 3-4 hours on the buffet bar. This is a step up for me.

Still better than gas station sushi.
