Should be simple, no? I dont want to over right with a new station, I just want to remove the current preset and leave the slot blank.

    What's the trick?

Go to a blank preset. Select it then scroll up to the one you want to over write and preset it.

Dont know if it works but almost seems like it should

Good thought but no go. When pressing a blank slot to go to it, it says the slot is blank and prompts me to over right it with whatever station I'm currently on.

Crap.. i was aboutbto go out in the rain and try it. It did sound good in theory.

You could always reset it back to stock but thats a bit extreme.

Yeah, and it would lose all my other personalizations too probably, yes? Shouldn't be this hard...

    Just overwrite it....

Go to new station, hold down to preset on top of old station

As far as I know, you have to do a complete “delete personal data”. Yes everything..

    Saw this posted somewhere:

You don't really want to delete a preset station - all that would do if give you 15 worthless presets all tuned to static on 87.9.

What you want to do is set the number of presets - so let's say there are only 5 stations in your area that you listen to - what you want to do is set the number of presets to 5 and then set your presets to only those stations.

Now - where it gets cumbersome is if you have 20 stations that you like to listen to and the one the was Preset 3 changed format from Hip-Hop to Classical, so you don't want to listen to it anymore. I think all you can do in that case is set the number of presets to 19 and make the old station 20 your new preset 3 (Or if you liked them in a certain order, you would have to set old station 4 as preset 3, old station 5 as preset 4, etc.)

(There is somewhat of a workaround for aftermarket radios as well - let's say your deck has 18 presets, but you only like 3 local stations - set them to repeat - i.e.
    Station A - presets 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16
    Station B - presets 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17
    Station C - presets 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18

Now when you scroll through presets, you will only hear Stations A, B, and C.

    Same here as well..

some one was lazy and didn't include this feature, then some QC person dropped the ball and didn't report this defective (non-existent) feature that should be standard.

I read somewhere that the etunes system was designed by Pioneer.. I thought Pioneer does a good job on their decks, maybe not for Toyota. lol

I did try only showing a
This doesn't really describe my use case:

I live in the boonies and therefore don't get local AM/FM with any clarity. And I travel a lot anyway, so XM it is for me. I've programmed in all the XM stations I care about; lets say 1-22. I'll cycle thru these using the steering wheel control. The Entune is smart enough to skip over all blanks; so if I'm on 22, and 23-32 are blank, it wraps back around to 1 immediately. Nice feature.

But then somewhere along the line I programmed in a couple AM stations when I was in a different state for a while (and before I knew clearing would be a problem) on 31 and 32. Now that I'm back home, when I'm on 22 and press the next button, it goes to 31 as you would expect (which is of course static/silence locally). So now I need to jump past a couple junk stations to get back to 1. 22->31->32->1... So just delete 31 and 32, right? Yeah...

Its looking like my best option is to program in the same stations twice I guess: Set 23 = current 1, set 24 = current 2 etc. Pretty stupid not to include a delete feature, but not the end of the world.

So here’s the YouTube video that worked for me. As some said, you can’t delete only override a preset.
My problem was only seeing the am/fm stations while listening to SiriusXM, which is basically all I listen to.
Now My XM stations are showing up in the list as first six stations.
BTW, you don’t have to hit Audio button. Just go right from listen listening screen.
    Hope this helps

Thanks for trying to help but this doesn't address my issue. Yes as said I can copy over old stations with new stations but that's not what I was looking to do. It appears what I'd like to do (simply delete) isn't possible. Bummer.

    Thanks again though.

I ran into the same situation. The only thing I could find to do was reduce the number of presets since I could only come up with 30 stations and I had filled in 36. I later didn’t want some of them on my list but couldn’t delete them and didn’t want duplicates.

Home > Settings Icon > Audio > Number of Radio Presets

I changed mine to 30 instead of 36.

Old post i know but just want to rant.
Decided to get rid of my XM radio so I have 15 or so preset stations mixed in with other radio stations. I did move the radio stations all up soatleast there on 1 screen now but how stupid not to be able to delete stations.

Yes, Toyota, not having a delete feature is dumb, dumb. dumb. Now, I am wondering how I can easily sort my presets into some semblance of order.
