Doesn’t seem like the Memorial Day sale has been activated. Maybe I’m using an old link.

Disregard, 10% discount code is given on HR’s website.

Are you sure the price at PureTundra is for a pair of lights, and not a single unit price?

You know, you are correct. I had assumed that price was for a set, (maybe I was unconsciously hoping), but I called puretundra, and they confirmed it was for a single light. So much for trying to save a buck.

So this morning was my first test drive in the dark. @The Beast, yeah I would say they Vleds were a little brighter, maybe due to the halogen reflector.
Since the motors are backwards, what did you guys set your dial at before aiming? I'm lifted about 3.5 so I'm trying to find the best spot to get the most useable light.

I just got the xb headlights today, and installed them. At first I thought I hooked them up wrong. It being bright and glary out they didnt seem very bright, and when I tried the turn signals with the engine off they didn t work, but when I started up the engine they worked. I guess I ll wait till night to see how bright they are, and to adjust them. I saw how the fitment of some of your guys headlights aren t quite right. On one of mine the reveal is slightly angled. I think a shim, or thin washer/s under the appropriate top bolt bracket will correct it. The lights seem to fit loose enough in the location. I will try it with mine later.[IMG]

Thanks. The blackout is different. It gives it a new look for sure. I m sort of disappointed about the pattern though. I liked the pattern of stock, and how the top of the light beam cut off in a flat manner. I could adjust low beams to not shine into other cars mirrors easily, but from what I ve seen of this light, it s all over the place. I have a feeling I m going to piss off a few drivers, hehehe.

Post pics of your gaps and adjustments so we all can get these things mounted where they need to be. I have to pick up some nylon inserts from the dealership before I mess with mine again.

The passenger side light is off a bit, but I will probably leave it the way it is. It s not that bad.

Mine is off where it wraps around and meets the fender on the pass side, and the drivers side has a bigger gap at the side of the grill. I'll take some pics shortly.

I used to install doors. How I solved reveal problems was with shims. I don t believe this is any different. Just need to find the right place to shim. They fit pretty good though. One can go ocd on it and try to get them perfect, but at the end of the day, I m happy with them.

I found the up and down adjuster. Is there a side to side adjuster on these things?

Just got mine delivered and thrown on! These things are sweet :D no issues with fitment or install and everything works tits out of the box. Need to run the wires for the leveling switch, but I'm fucking stoked! Thanks for the hookup Headlight Revolution!

Yes, it is the silver one. What dial setting are you using while making your adjustments? I would like to see output shots of what you end up with.

I dont know of a dial setting. Where is that? All I saw when I adjusted the height was a bolt on the back. Maybe I need to take them off to see it? Or do you mean the levelers? My 2007 doesn t have those. It s all manual for me.

...I read your previous posts about the dial you are referring to. Yea, I don t have leveling motors feature.

Why wouldn't you level it with them all the way up? Are you planning to run a snow plow or something where the nose will get loaded down?

Also I think it's funny everyone complaining the leveler is "backwards", sounds correct to me, 5 is as high and 0 is low, numerically that makes more sense than it "should" be imo

Mine arrived today... looking forward to getting them installed. UPS driver dropped them off in an Escalade. Yup, they’re that special.

I think they are supposed to be aimed when all the way down. Common sense would lead to think that 5 is supposed to be high and 0 low. Its probably just everyone being so used to it.

My lights should deliver tomorrow. I went out and played with my stock levelers tonight. 0 is the highest setting and moving the dial to 5 lowers the headlights. According to Toyota, zero is level and the dial aims the lights downward as it moves from 0 to 5. As stated before, it’s designed to compensate for the front lifting when towing a heavy load. Like others have stated, I’m going set my leveler switch to 5 (the lowest setting) before installing the lights and hope when I turn the dial back towards 0 it will raise them to where I want but still allow me to lower them when needed. I’m not sure if it will work but I’ll give it a shot.

I think its fricking lame that you pay so much for these things and there are no directions on adjusting them. I still don t find a side to side adjuster.

Edit: Drove for about 10 miles tonight. For the most part the lights seem OK. There was a few times the lights did something unexpected though. Once while backing up into a parking spot at the store something flashed when I shifted from drive to reverse. Not sure if the drl, or the low beams is what flashed, but neither should have flashed like that. Also, one time the lights would not turn on when I turned switch on. When I turned the switch a second time they came on then. It may be something on my end, but I never had a single problem with stock headlights.

i have an 08 and bought the wire harness from the seller in Thailand so if I can just get the leveling to work i'm going to call that a win even if it runs backwards. too lazy to manually adjust. lol.

I realized something on the way to work this morning. You can use a dash cam to get a good idea of where your beam pattern and coverage is. I noticed that my passenger side Rigid pods behind the grill are aimed a little lower than the drivers side.

Ya’ll choose sequential or solid on the turn signal?

well I got them installed this evening. I set the leveler dial to 5 before I installed them. They now move down when I go from 5 to 0 and up from 0 to 5, basically the reverse of the stock setting but who cares the good news is you can still adjust them up and down as needed.
I have to say I'm impressed with the lights and even more so at night. Much better light output than my stock halogen bulbs! The DRL's are bright and look great on the truck, they definitely give it an updated appearance. I was going to go with the sequencial turn signal but forgot to undo the connector before putting the lights in. The turn signal is a solid flash on and off now and I actually like it so I'm going to leave it that way. I like both options but now seeing the solid my vote is leaning that way!upload_2020-5-27_22-23-30.jpg
