Bought this snug top shortly after picking up my DC - took a couple of months to find. I don't know if I got a deal or what they're going for. I've always liked the design of this snug top and its obviously color matched.

Been thinking I'd like to leave it off for a while and I don't have good storage for it, maybe I should sell? What do y'all think about the short term cash gain vs. always having the canopy just in case?

I appreciate having it when I need it and find it to be a PIA when I don't. I'm sure many of you are right there with me. All in all I would say I need it less than I thought I would and am just as happy to get a bed box/tarp for those occasions I do.

I'm not dying for the money or anything. Anyone in the same boat? Did you make yourself a garage hoist for single-man operation like I am considering? Pics?

Me - I'd keep it hoisted to the ceiling. It's a nice top, color matched & would cost nothing to leave it up there.
Life changes in short order, you might suddenly find you need one, nice to already have the right one.

I 100% regret selling mine. Seemed like the way to go at first but I wish I had it around. Cost me $0 to store it at the house.

I can promise that nothing else will make you need one again like if you sell that one!

Haha, I can see that! I think I'll have to fashion up some hoist setup I can deal with solo. Fellas have any ideas?

Appreciate the input so far. This is like having that hardtop for my old miata except much heavier and more awkward to deal with alone.

Yep - I used to move my Z3 top on & off on my back. Never quite got the hoist set up.
Lot of hoist options or instructions to build you own.

I just used some cheap pulleys and rope for my FJ40 top and it was a simple 1 man job.
I would probably get some Nylon Lifting Slings to go around the whole shell or through the window openings and lift with those, that way you can avoid scratching and damage that any hard surface material might cause.

They are pretty cheap really and HF sells a really shitty version that might be perfect for this job!

Do the windows even open or not?
