I recently purchased 2019 Tundra sequential LED DRL projector headlights from Specdtuning. The wiring is not the same but the headlight itself fits perfectly in the space for the head lamp. After plugging the connectors that I was able to match up I realized all but the main DRL LeD tube lights up. Can anyone help me with what wiring additions I need to make these work for me. I purchased a conversion harness from @Headlight Revolution bur not sure I even needed it. Anything will help!!! Thanks

I’m new to all of this sorry if the questions sound ridiculous! How do I find the positive wire of the DRL? What area will the wire be coming from on the headlight? Ex.turn signal plug, parking light plug? @xtyfighterx

I just installed some headlights very similar on my 2010 and got too frustrated trying to wire the DRL LED tubes to function as DRLs so I just t-tapped into the marker lights instead so they turn on with my lows. Should be a red and black or white and black that come from the headlight. White is hot, black is neutral. If you wanted them to function as DRLs then you need an add-a-fuse to piggyback the IGN fuse so they turn on when you turn the truck on. I couldn't find the right add-a-fuse from my local auto store and got impatient so I didnt order one online.

There is a video on YouTube. There is a one wire that hooks into fuse panel. I can't recall which video but I saw couple of them.

Obviously my 2nd gen isnt going to be the same as the 2019 but the ones I ordered came with no wiring harness or instructions for the led drl tubes so I sort of had to do the legwork to sort it out. On the headlights I installed there were existing plug and play harnesses for the highs, lows, and turning signal. Then there were two loose unharnessed wires at the bottom (1 black and 1 white) that were for the led drl tubes. Those are the ones you want to tap into the marker light wires. On my marker lights it was white to green and black to black and white. Hope this helps

I don’t believe so, Morimotos are around $900. The ebays are like $225. Morimotos look like they are higher quality without as much or any mods involved.

I saw a few reviews of generic headlights and they're pretty terrible - yellowing in <1year, LED going back after 3 months, condensation in headlight. Just really bad stories. I'm curious if maybe they're user error? I'd love to do the Gen2 update to Gen2+ with the Sequoia TRD Grill and "cheaper" headlights. Trying to keep the update to less than 1k.
