Polish and sealant, yup. It would be best to add something over it, like reload for more longevity. It's also a primer, meaning you can apply cquartz ceramic right over it after you polish without an extra wipe down step

My friend owns a glass factory. They use sprayway glass cleaner. I get it from them. Bottom line though, use too much of anything and it'll streak and be a pain to clean up. You need to use just enough, and no more. Yup, glass is a pain.

For anyone looking for a good sealant (only, not an AIO).....consider a new product from Wolfgang......SIO2 Paint Sealant. I decided to try it, mostly because of the good reviews I was reading. Stuff is stupid easy to use, and leaves the surface very slick and very glossy. It is pricey (39.99/16 oz bottle), but I can tell you that I used less than two ounces on the CrewMax, and it came out awesome. I fully expect to get 6 months (or more) out of this application.

With all the Memorial Day sales going on right now, can I get some help with my current regiment.

    Wash with Mr Pink
    Wolfgang Claybar
    Griots Fast Correcting Cream
    and then what...

I bought some Meguairs M205 but I’m not 100% satisfied with the results. What would be my next step? I was thinking a wax and then sealant but am I wrong?

will be applying with a HF D/A with some LC Orange and Black Pads.
    TIA!

In what way are you not satisfied with M205? Are you using the same pad(s) with the FCC as you are with M205?

Your sequence would be sealant first, then wax. Some folks insist on a wipe down/panel prep after polish, to take away any of the polishing oils....others say it isn't necessary. I do it because it doesn't take that long....and I'm certain of the sealant bonding correctly. I've never compared results with one process versus the other.....so I might just be wasting time. I look at it this way...any time spent detailing my truck is not wasted.

I just felt like the M205 didn’t give me that buttery feel that I really like to get when I wax.

I didn’t even think about applying a sealant first. Which would you recommend?? Thanks!

M205 is a polish, not a wax so thats why it doesn't feel like wax.

So after the m205. Should I do a wax? Where does the sealant come into play? Should I ditch the m205? Thanks for all the help btw.

Pudge beat me to answering the question about M205......if those were your expectations, then I'm not surprised that you were disappointed.

If it's really bad....Solution Finish.....it's effectively a dye and lasts about a year. Once it's dry, coat it with Car Pro Dlux and you may get longer out of it. If it's not too far gone, Wolfgang Exterior Trims Sealant.

Please elaborate? I placed an order on the 17th and it finally shipped the 30th  so I can see why that would be a problem... it was a rather large order and the customer service was subpar at best... but why else?

Ok so I just got an email from autogeek and guess what! They won’t make it right! Screw them they sent me an email saying they showed CarPro the video I sent and CarPro said it wasn’t a manufacturer defect. Well that’s funny because I spoke to CarPro and they said if autogeek did not make it right they would. Again I will never buy from autogeek ever again and I will purchase all CarPro from sky’s the limit
