Whats going on guys, I am going to be getting a 6inch suspension lift on my tundra next week, I have seen a couple of pics where they are leaving there leveling kits on with the suspension lift, do any of you know about that and what would be the drawback? I would think the alignment. What do you think

Welcome! Our resident expert, @csuviper will chime in shortly, I'm sure.

However, what is the purpose of leaving the leveling kit with a full blown suspension lift? I would think suspension + shackles would be a better (safer) option..

Yes alignment, as well as accelerated wear on some components such as the CVs and ball joints do to over extension on suspension droop.

If you go for an adjustable "stage 2" lift that includes preload adjustable coilovers then you wouldn't even need to use a leveling kit in conjunction to gain additional ride height in the front and then for the rear you could add some lift shackles as Sean mentioned. I would recommend staying away from lift blocks greater than 2" in the rear and using a combination of shackles or AALs to get the desired height back there

    ^ Agree with Relentless.

6" Lift kits come with either a spacer for the existing front struts:

or you can upgrade and get the coilovers for added front adjustment

These kits are designed for 6" lift and get close to factory alignment.
Adding spacers on top of spacers is highly not recommended as it is dangerous and increases the chance of additional wear, alignment issues and blown shocks.
New upper control arms are recommended if alignment is not to factory specs.
For the rear, they typically come with blocks and add-a-leafs to keep the blocks under 2". As relentless said, keep the blocks under 2", you wont be happy with larger and larger is dangerous.
