4 door Stepside?

I have a 2006 Tundra Stepside. I do not like the access doors. Can I take the bed off and switch it too a 4 door 2006 Tundra?

The AC beds are different than the DC beds. Not sure why, but there must be a reason. It might affect mounting points. Someone smarter than me here can give you a better answer.

Someone on here a few years ago said it would work and had the same holes but my body guy says wheelbase is 140.6 on 4 door and 128.5 on stepside. Not sure what that means to the fit?

 

the double cab is a totally different beast. the body is taller, the bed i believe was shorter but the walls were taller... the stepside, if it did fit, would look REALLY out of place on a double

Man, those stepside beds are.........something, huh?

 

I really like the step sides the older they become as time goes along. Used to think they were a little fugly, but they look nice now for some reason.
