Now that I live on east coast, and a 8 hr drive from Niagara Falls, I figure it’s worth a trip. From what I hear, the Canadian side is better to view/tourist. Any input? Are the road signs in Canada in French? Vancouver side was just like being in U.S. other than mph to kmh. So, any tips, suggestions, etc...

While you are there, you can check out both sides, take the boat tour.....it's all in walking distance.

Not sure what’s open there. Somebody from the Buffalo area will be able to tell you. For a while, you couldn’t even cross the border for recreation due to Covid 19. Not sure if restrictions have been lifted yet. US side has outlet malls and shopping, CA side has better views and a nice casino and indoor water park.

The Canadian side is more touristy and has better sights. I would recommend going to Toronto also! Both are worth the trip IMO.

Running boards , tonneau cover, short antenna, Solo Mach 40 side exit before rear wheel.
I live 45 mins from there.

There is not much open there right now. Once everything gets back to normal it is English everywhere. There are great views from the Canadian side and the Maid of the mist boat trip should not be missed.

I go to the American side often and love Goat Island and the three sisters islands. From this view the speed of the water is amazing. It is a must see.

The food prices in the tourist areas are stupid high.

let me know if you need any other info.

That’s what I’ve always heard. Definitely going to the Canadian side, hell, regardless we’ll be right there, why not. Border crossing can’t be anything like Tj or Mexicali.

Where are you located? I'm about 6 hours away also. DO NOT STAY ON THE NEW YORK SIDE! It's a dump. The signs are in English, speed is in MPH & KMH. If you pay in American money make sure you know what the value is, some places tell you $10 USD is $10 CND. The USD is worth more. I love the Canadian side, Canada is such a beautiful place. Are you taking the Tundra? If you go to Toronto it is hard to find parking, the Tundra is too tall for some of the parking structures.

We live 3-4 miles from the Falls. Canada does the tourest side so much better. speed signs are in Kmh. If you use US money your change will comeback as Canadain money. We have a Hard Rock, Rainforest Cafe and Canada has a World Hard Rock, Rainforest Cafe and Hershey Candy Store. The Seneca Casino here has a ok buffet and free parking. You can only get to the cave of the winds on the us side. it goes behind the Falls, Have fun

But right now even the state park here is roped off. So waiting til fall is a good idea.

Canadian side for sure. Do the maid of the mist. It’s touristy for sure but also incredible.

We ventured north into Canada to the town of Niagara on the Lake. Nice down town and walkable/ bikeable.
