    Dropped my baby off to the mechanic yesterday.. I'm going to predict its either my coils, the anti seize in the spark plug threads still, or they cant "recreate" the problem because it would only misfire 50 percent of the time.. but when it does misfire it shakes the whole truck violently... no check engine light though! We should see by lunch time

    Mine have been in use for almost 2 years with no problems. Reviewers say good things on Big Gurrll with no bad reports back after years of use.

    Go to Denso site and they will link you to about 6 suppliers. The online stores win in cost over the autozoned places by half! Best prices I’ve seen are around $55 average each coil. Go check it for yourself.

    These dumbasses are telling me my valves are carboned up. So they ran seafoam through my intake (which i did a few weeks ago) and sold me a god damn bottle of seafoam and charged me 130 for it all, including their time.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I laughed way too hard at this.

    @Pucks18, I feel for you man. It's time to either take it to a better mechanic or try some of the things suggested earlier in this thread.

    Rockauto is the safe bet for cheap coils. Amazon and eBay are great for fakes

    Went back and read the reviews. All are high reccos from the Toy crowd. Many reviews are from 2016-17 so there is some time behind these without negative comebacks. Many 2000-2003 Tundra guys with the same codes as Puchkshizzles.

    Well reviews don’t tend to lie.

    (unless they’re all recent) I had spares somewhere. But I think they’ve been lost/thrown out by now.

    @Pucks18 typically when I see a miss that happens warm but not cold, it is indeed a coil. Now with anti seize being in the mix.. I honestly have no clue. Never seen anti seize cause issues honestly.

    Okay well now it doesnt seem to matter if warm or cold. The misfire/rough idle is only happening in park, neutral, or drive without applying any throttle. When its not running rough in park or neutral, i can make it run rough by bringing my rpms up to 1,000 rpms, and letting go of the throttle. Once i let go of the throttle thats when it starts to shake. When in drive the whole truck will shake, and when i let go of the brake to let it inch forward it will shake too. It doesnt happen 100 percent of the time for some reason either.

    and i really appreciate your responses btw. It doesnt seem like anti seize has much to do with it anymore. I have one pending code which is a random misfire code.. p0300
