Tryin...won’t upload? “iPhone video” Best I can describe..raspy but yet still not loud. Just enough so the wifey will be annoyed! She often refers to me as her oldest child!

Compared to the numerous videos on line..the 10 inch is quieter, slight drone 65-70mph but haven’t installed the resonator yet? Not sure I will?

I was very surprise how little drone there was without the resonator. With the resonator, it’s gone!

DIY Wireless charger...... Blue tow hooks 13 inch radio antenna TRD Pro grill Dirty Deeds BAMuffler 8" SS Blacked out tailpipe Lightbar, rear sway bar maybe headers are next......... Summer tires on stock rims. Winters are black rims ('09) w blue accents wrapped with Wrangler Duratracs
Shipped Monday and arrived to sunny Vancouver Canada yesterday afternoon.......

    Thanks Keith & team @dirtydeeds !!!!!!

8 inch SS immediately installed easily (in the dark). The only issue was one rusted flange bolt requiring an angle grinder.

Sound is amazing, performance is enhanced and the engine breathes much better. And the tailpipe is blacked out!

Super pumped to process some fuel today!!!

I didn't jack the truck up and installed it pretty easily, maybe 5-10 minutes once the OEM was removed. But a lift would help.

Rusted flange bolts are the worst. Only one of the four were an issue for me. Tried filing, heating w a blowtorch, drilling out (broke two bits) and eventually used an angle grinder on the head and a vice grip on the protruding end of the bolt. That one bolt was a mofo.

Just wanted to give an update for anyone interested. I ran the 8 inch w/o resonator for about 2 months and just put on the resonator. My first impression without the resonator was that the truck was much louder than i expected. I wasn't sure if I liked it to be honest. On a long trip you could hear it at cruising speeds. From what I read here I thought it would only be noticeable at WOT. Over the 2 months it really grew on me though. I found myself revving it, flooring it, and using the "manual mode" just to hear it. Very immature I know :p It definitely had a little more power over stock that I could feel. It also would backfire some. Yes it did have some drone but it wasn't terrible.

So over this past weekend I had access to a lift and decided to go ahead and put the resonator on. Wasn't too hard with lift access and a hole saw. I took off the spare tire just to make it easier.

First impression with the resonator is that it definitely took the drone out that I had from about 1800-2000RPM. But also right off the bat it didn't really have that oomph on cold start. Also it feels like it may have sucked out that little bit of power that I gained without it. Additionally, its noticeably more quiet until you get high in the powerband. With the resonator its much more like what I had read about what to expect from this set up. At cruising speed its quiet but if you romp on it you can hear it. I kind of miss the rawness now it had without the resonator but this is much more daily friendly. Doesn't really backfire any more and even at WOT it seems a bit toned down than before. Its almost like a silencer in a way. Also I can once again hear the engine over the exhaust with the resonator where I could not without the resonator.

I would suggest for anyone wonder to go without it first and see if you can live with it and if its just too much add the resonator. Just wanted to share my .02 in case anyone was wondering what to expect with and without the resonator. But I'm very happy with the set up and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Cheers:thumbsup:

I got the standard budget and since it was on the lift, I just went straight for the resonator from the start. Truck is DEFINITELY plenty loud and aggressive sounding, but sounds stock on the highway. Couldn't believe it.

Absolutely love the small range of raspiness that appears when using 3/4 throttle or more. Love doing it next to people with their windows down.

I ran the 10" system for two weeks and did not like it. Drone while towing was nearly unbearable. I threw the resonator on this last weekend, and drove four hours, picked up a car and drove back. Drone was nearly non existent. This is exactly what I wanted. Keith was right to recommend the 10" and the resonator made it perfect for me.

FYI, Keith makes a plate to cover the hole if you want to take resonator on/off

Very cool didn't know that. I'll probably run it with the resonator indefinitely but good to know its not hard to convert back.
